The food was nothing special and WAY overpriced. We ate for lunch and our server, Eric, was awful. He refused to make any accommodations for our party based on allergy and dietary concerns. We did speak with the kitchen manager who was very nice and helpful with our requests. Service was very slow even though the restaurant was less than half full. Just got a shrimp po boy and the shrimp looked and tasted like they had sat in nasty water for days...very disappointed
Two visits and decided the management is very bad. I doubt I will go back. I did get to wait for a hour while the weren't busy for food, and also for to hear management and the cooking staff cussing and yelling in the dinning room. I will go back to capt ds for better service .
The service is terrible! Will never be back and will avoid this place in the future!
I ordered the fried shrimp and fish basket to go and paid $18 dollars for a meal I regret ordering. The food I got was soggy, cold, and flavorless. I got 5 shrimp, 2 very small fish fillets a handful of onion rings, 2 tiny hush puppies, 1 even smaller corn fritter, and a small cup of shrimp slaw. The only part of the whole meal I paid for that had any flavored was the tea I got with it. I would not recommend this restaurant to anybody and there are better seafood restaurants in the area to go to.
Fried shrimp tasted like rubber. Had all I can eat and 2nd batch were worse than the 1st. The grilled Mahi fish tacos were hard as a rock. My lady couldn't even stick a fork in the fish. Wasn't Mahi tasted too fishy to be Mahi...the server was very nice but will not be back.
Loooooooong time for service or food. Extremely slow which is unusual. Most of waitstaff hung out in back or in kitchen the whole time between 12:30-1:00pm. Normally not the case. I am shocked.
The food is good and the layout of the restaurant and the atmosphere are good, but the service was horrible. I have been 3 times to give them chances at better service, and it got worse with each visit. So, I guess I won't go back even though the Mahi Mahi tacos are great. I would also like to point out, it was not crowded so that cannot be an excuse. There were only 4 tables with people seated.
I don't know who is in charge of hiring but your waitress is extremely over worked. She has tables inside and out and cannot keep up. Probably not her fault, but please stop skimmping on employees. Hire some extra hands. The food is great but your waitress should not be this over stretched.
