We worked with Mitchell regarding setting up solar. We moved into our house in April of 2023 and have been bombarded with solar people coming to our home. We looked into 9 different companies, and I found Solar optimum and called them (they didn't bother us which was a huge plus) and got info. We did a TON of research for months on end. We installed solar with Solar Optimum last month. It all went quickly and well. Solar Optimum was reasonably priced relative to their competitors. The design phase went fine. I had a suggestion for a modification, and they made it with no problem. There are some tricky issues with setbacks (both on the side and at the peak of the roof -- be sure you understand those). I had a problem with my Tesla Battery backup for my solar panel system. Rene Melena came right out, found some wiring errors (from the solar panel installers) and connected everything correctly. The system has worked flawlessly since his visit. Truly excellent customer support and I will recommend Solar Optimum for installation of a battery backup system for your solar panel system. Solar optimum got the job done at the end of the day, when others simply would not consider a non-southward facing roof. I was aware an east/west array paired with a self consumption battery would adequately ensure complete electricity independence from grid, if the PV was accurate. I appreciate Solar optimum taking on the project and adjusting through several design iterations along the way. I shopped around for solar companies and collecting quotes. Solar optimum gave the most reasonable offer and I proceeded with them. Installation was quick within a single day, and the work quality was excellent. Being an engineer myself, the solar optimum staff also worked with me on optimal installation. We contracted with Solar Optimia early this year for installation of a solar system on our house in Glendora. Solar Optimia communicated well and installed a system that is working flawlessly. Our formally large electric bill is now negative and we are very happy with the system. I cross shopped with about 10 solar installers and decided on solar optimum considering reviews, pricing, product line, and the professionalism of Kevin Taing. Kevin was very pleasant to work with and gave me the confidence and level of trust to move forward with the project and also assure that it will be completed before the expiration of NEM 2.0. The level of professionalism permeates through all of the solar optimum staff and their contractors. Overall a very positive experience and would recommend to anyone.

I have been totally surprised by the fast replies, professional service and care! Solar Optimum has held my "hand" during the entire process and made the process really smoothly. My house was not exactly easy to configure and the company really pivoted to place the equipment in the best place.
