I went with Solar Optimum mainly because of reputation. I also wanted to go with a company that wasn't going to disappear in the next few years. There were cheaper quotes for the system I wanted, but they didn't quite meet the aforementioned requirements (one, although competent, was way too new to feel comfortable with). After my review posted on Dec 4, 2025; Charles Buckley of Solar Optimum called me several times. As of now, after struggling and daily efforts from me, the solar panel system is installed, with vague instructions to turn it on. They say the customer should turn on the system and also should monitor. I had to find out from others the complete turn on procedure and to install Tesla APP on my phone to monitor. I'm giving this project 5 star review because I think it is the best company to go with for quality and a competitive cost. If you go with this company, 100% ask for Mason to be your sales rep. Avoid Eddie at all costs as he won't respond to you after you sign your agreement...Because of this, Management actually switched my contact person to Mason, and I am forever grateful for that. Solar Optimum is amazing. We wanted to do solar for our house but needed to do our roof as well and Solar Optimum handled both. It was a competitive price but the most important part is that we didn't sacrifice service. Carlos Leon was our coordinator throughout the project and although he primarily worked on the roof side, he did it all. He was responsive, caring and made the process so much better. Thank you Solar Optimum and thank you Carlos.

After posting my review, Solar Optimum reached out and I was able to schedule a technician to address our production issues. The tech was able to get our system back up and running yesterday but they are going to replace our Powerwall due to a manufacturer defect, which they said could take at least a month due to their backlog of work. I totally understand that they are slammed right now because everyone is rushing to get solar before the tax incentives expire, but providing good customer service should not be compromis... read more

The Solar optimum roofing team was amazing to work with from beginning to end. From the roofing manager to the lead on site, they were responsive and worked through all of the details with us. The end result was a new roof that looks great. The crew was hard-working and knew what they were doing! I would highly recommend them.

They did an entire roof replacement. Because they are the highest level of GAF Roofing Materials installers, we have a non-pro-rated (meaning, should we have a problem, they don't just pay for the "unused years," they pay for the whole thing) for 40 years! The installers were excellent, and the roof looked great, but the company foreman who checked the work had them redo a small part that wasn't to GAF specs (at no extra cost). Totally recommend Solar Optimum! I was curious about bringing my electric bill down, my A/C usage was costing me $500 bimonthly. After speaking with Energy Consultant Andrew Felix, he was able to plan out a system perfectly matched for my needs. Top quality panels, competitive pricing, honest and straightforward financing. He walked me through the types of rebates and incentives I could qualify for and I feel like I got the best deal. No games just honest, quick and efficient service.

If you want solar panels installed on your house, Solar Optimum is the company to go to! Charles Buckley, the Finance and Inspections Manager, was so very helpful and efficient, making sure to totally fulfill our solar needs, questions, and getting the work done in a timely manner. Highly recommend working with Charles!
