I hope the care provided is better than their billing. The Plano, TX Office demanded that I pay for my diagnostic mammogram in full, even though they have my insurance information. My insurance pays 100% with zero deductible. Then they billed my insurance... FOUR times, so far. They have been paid by my insurance, but they continue to send bills to my insurance, trying to get more money. And I can't get them to refund the $600+ that I was charged in error. Been dealing with an issue since October last year. Dr wrote order for my yearly mammogram. I go get it, his name is on the invoice as referring doctor. They keep billing me saying, I wasn't referred. I'm like WHAT!! So I decided to get a mammogram myself and somehow my DR's name magically appears as referring doctor. So they find out, he did refer me, now they're asking for an authorization code that no one has any idea what they are talking about not even the doctor. Waited an hour past my appointment time. They told me they couldn't do a diagnostic exam without images AFTER I was undressed and ready to go (after the hour past my appointment) A heads up prior to my appointment- something like- " we don't have your actual physical hard copy slides" would have been so helpful! My first diagnostic mammogram ever. I HAD NO IDEA my Dr. hadn't sent what I needed. My Dr said they sent over all the info they had. Everything goes well till you get a cancer diagnostic and you need your records in a rush to be treated by an oncologist/surgeon. First you need to get a sale pitch of nurse service vis a phone call (apparently it is the protocol) even if you don't need it and then they don't have a way to expedite your records. All you hear is that a standard 3 days is required. The office personnel are simply rude and they won't help you in any way. They say they will call you when ready ! It has taken me 5 years to write this review. The doctor at Willow Bend was so horrible to me during my mammogram. I kept asking questions of the staff so they brought in the doctor. The doctor came in mad at me for her having to talk to me. She told me to look at the screen and then said "see that, that is breast cancer. You will need chemo..." Getting a mammogram is one of the most nerve wracking events a woman goes through each year, and especially if she has a strong history of breast cancer in her immediate family. The staff are all polite and professional here. It's the wait time that kills me. They are ALWAYS behind as we all sit in a room with several other women in drapes that are immodest with the first wrong turn. The lockers were out of service somehow at my last visit too. This was my first mammogram- hearing good things about Solis-and getting a recommendation from my MD I just went with Solis. They called to schedule the appointment and took my insurance information and not one time did anyone tell me they are out of network with Aetna and I would be charged for what is supposed to be a free service. I know ultimately it is my responsibility to check insurance and I will make sure to do so next time! On top of the bill, the experience was humiliating. I had an awful visit at Solis mammography today. The person at the front desk, Darry Watson, was extremely rude and condescending. She spoke to me like I was a child and was cold and uncaring. After I said I wanted to file a complaint, she refused to give me her name. I then spoke to the office manager who was not helpful. It was a horrible experience. I am a doctor and I wouldn't want Darry treating my staff that easy. She found a way to make a scary experience worse. A sure fire way to make sure patients don't come back... read more

I went in for a diagnostic mammogram and a sonogram as this was requested from a new P.A. that I went to see due to having breast pain, sensitivity and aching. My Mother had breast cancer so it's important! The P.A reflected on my chart, there was a mass, breast pain, history etc. when I went into have the mammogram, the first she says is, what's going on here?? I'm like, you've got the chart.
