SOTA Weight Loss supports and encourages the Dignity Model Dignity is our inherent value and worth as human beings; everyone is born with it. All of us know what it feels like to be marginalized and shamed, the hurt and embarrassment that can come when we are mistreated or misunderstood and our dignity is violated. It does not mean there is something wrong with us, it means something wrong happened to us. No one can take our dignity away from us, it is always in our hands. It needs to be cared for and we are the only ones ... read more

I’m lost and have not started yet I have not even scheduled my first Nutritionist appointment
My contact, Colton, was very good but I feel like you needed to be more up front with how much this costs. I only had a few minutes to decide if I would continue on with signing the forms. Now, I wish I hadn’t said yes, because I can’t afford this. I know I can’t continue on with another 6 weeks just because of the cost. The price of what this costs needs to be up front.
I’m in the maintenance phase of SOTA following a 25 pound weight loss. I’ve had a couple of months with a lot of social events that enticed me to fall back to inappropriate eating. The monthly check-ins motivate me to curb urges to eat poorly or too much. Conversations with the SOTA staff remind me of things that help me stay focused on the healthy choices I’ve used to loose weight and keep it off! Thanks SORA!
I've become well-aquainted with a few of the dieticians who work with me. It's fun to recognize their voices and know that I've spoken with them before. They always are positive and have great ideas of what I can change to keep my weight steady. I went up almost four pounds and now I've lost them again thanks to their good advice!
Consistent phone calls are very helpful in keeping me on track with the program
After 30 weeks I am still moving forward toward my goals. I feel better, sleep better and have more energy than I have had for a long time. I am grateful for the support from Lauren, my counselor.
I could have not been successful without Sota weight loss and the team. They taught me how to eat properly to loose weight and now I’m in the maintenance phase. I have tried so many ways to loose weight, and with my hypothyroid I really didn’t think it was possible. But I was wrong. I’m so grateful for Sota!
I'm only on my first week of the program and I feel so good! Rebecca and Christin have been amazing coaches. They follow up with me almost daily and I can tell they want me to be successful at this. I'm looking forward to my first weigh in on a few days as I feel really good! I'm not hungry, my body feels great, big surprise when you eat right! Thanks for getting me in the right path.
Wednesday and Thursday have been two Good days so far. Lunches with two full cups of vegetables have been satisfying, along with a Sota sloppy Joe and cheese steak pasta. Then an afternoon snack bag. Dinners with 8 oz chicken and salmon also filling. The Chocolate Mint bar last evening raised blood sugar this morning. I’m concerned about that. Hoping BG will come down. What do I do with the drink bottles? Walking 30+, drinking about 96 oz, water, using 4 tbsp EVOO, no fruit. Not Hungry, doing well. One day at a time, stayin... read more
