I mean, it’s a lot of money for what you get and what you have to do, I didn’t know to begin with that everything they send you has lots of protein in it so it took me a while to get going. Having “been there, done that” on just about every fad diet out there, SOTA is unfortunately no different. If you’ve been around you’ve head of Medifast/Optivia (5 tiny packaged meals, 1 real food meal per day). That should sound grossly (no pun intended) familiar. We hit Medifast hard! Saw some results but definitely not sustainable. The one thing my consultant did say which I agree with, weight loss is 90% diet, 10% exercise. The consultant Colton on the phone was very nice! But the program is too expensive, and I would prefer to have an actual place to go for weekly weigh ins and talks, instead of just over the phone.
Let me say first that the program works. However, the business practices are questionable so buyer beware. One of the main selling points is that after the program is complete you have a lifetime membership with soda where you can come back for support as well as I’m weight loss maintenance program. This is only true if you hit your goal for weight loss and it’s not your goal, it’s their goal. I am not getting the guidance or support I thought I would get for $3,000. I’m paying for packets of MREs and a weigh in for the most part. I get scolded when I didn’t lose enough weight.
It was good however, the cost was more than I can afford right now. I think the program sounds great but I’m not ready to spend $4000 upfront cost. I’m happy to spend monthly cost but not the whole six weeks for two people right upfront. Rebecca was awesome. I appreciate what she did, she was very thorough and very complementary
YOur program is sucessful, however when you reach your goal, the staff treats you like a stepchild and doesn't give much support to help maintain your weight loss. I was kicked out of the program 2 years ago.
