Reasonable good food however expensive for what you get. Our main was the beef rib and was a small potion. £4.50 for water!

The best thing about this place is the view of Bath Abbey from the outdoor seating and the people playing music in the street. We ordered the Sunday roast specifically medium rare. Ours came out well over Medium. The potatoes and vegetables served with the dish had little to no flavor. The potatoes were so bone dry. DO NOT recommend the Sunday roast from here. We chose to dine in the "piano bar" area. The pianist and general sound was dreadful. The food was quite good.
Service was great and staff friendly. Our food came out in good time but lukewarm and meat was dry. It was beautiful plated but flavour wasn’t there for me. We were looking forward to the pianist but we found ourselves leaving for drinks elsewhere. I personally wouldn’t go again. Shame as it was the first meal myself and my partner have had out in a long time.
When we got sat down there was some confusion as to where the table was. It took quite a while for someone to see us while other tables that got sat after us had been seen had had drinks before anyone came to see us for drinks. When the waiter came to take our order we ordered 3 steaks as the oz of the steak was smaller than we would’ve wanted so we ordered one each and then one to share. Pictures when booking did not reflect where we were sat and the ambience was lacking. Service was excellent and food good.

I had a a Chicken Caesar salad with large chunks of chicken piled on top which I did not like it wasn’t like a Caesar salad at all. They tried to justify price of £16 by doing that he chicken was red in colour with a spice on it and it was dry don’t recommend Fish pie ok little dry inside, over priced food but lovely restaurant gt ambience

Waiter was rude and obnoxious. We ordered one starter and a bread basket which he found strangely weird. He kept saying it’s four rolls!..then he put the bread down and said here’s your “bread basket!”. When he left the desert menu we were talking and drinking our wine so when he came back we haven’t decided. He was extremely put out by this and made no effort to hide his true feelings. Service very slow Three times we asked for water Kept waiting for awhile for drinks Some of our party went outside for a bit when they came back where challenged as to if they had booked a table when they said they already had a table they where followed to our table as if not believed . They felt uncomfortable and and made to feel like second rate guests not a pleasant feeling for all of us . One of the waitresses seemed to condescending . Food was amazing .
