For the price charged, we barely saw waiter. Asked 3 times for table water to not be seen. Bought wrong main out for my partner to be told I got it wrong. Then again no sign to check on us, we left before the dessert. Would not eat there again

I have to say, I dine out pretty frequently and this was undoubtedly the worst dining experience I have had for some time. I arrived about 20 minutes early for an 8:15pm NYE “experience” booking. I said I totally understood that I couldn’t be seated but asked if I could just grab a couple of drinks while I waited. A very inconvenienced looking manager simply thrust a drinks menu into my hand and told me to sit outside. Not an impressive way of dealing with a customer but to be fair, it was busy. A very disappointed evening celebrating the new year. The only reason we booked this place was the promise of live music. We arrived and took 20 minutes to be seated on the 2nd floor no where near the live music. We waited for over one hour for our starters to arrive of which one of them was wrong. The waiter was amazing and close to tears. The food was average. Really disappointed with this restaurant. Booked it specifically to hear the piano music - was ushered to a room upstairs where the piano could not be heard. No music was played and it was difficult to hear my partner talking due to two drunk couples who were placed in the middle of the room and were swearing and shouting constantly. Well the staff urged us to order food when we just sat down for 5min. When we said we need a few more minutes he looked so annoyed! Literally we arrived precisely on time with our booking, we were not late so why so impolite to us? It made us feel so weird. Then, there were incomplete set of utensils for each guest. when we requested to have one more plate, the staff asked us to use the one that was holding the sauces. Unbelievable…. Told us we couldn’t be seated, as our table had been given to another party, despite our booking clearly being visible on the tablet carried by the waiter. Rude, awful. They had several parties (8 or 9 at least) who had booked waiting around for their tables - but that doesn’t excuse treating people in this way.
