I was very disappointed with my meal here. The pea and asparagus risotto was tasteless with raw onion - it was as if raw veg had been added to warm rice. The duck salad was mainly leaves. The waiter service was fine until we made it clear we wouldn’t be having a dessert or drink and thrn they we just couldn’t get their attention. The piano player played wallpaper background music .. you could have heard in a supermarket aisle. There are loads of cheaper and nicer places nearby.

Food was very nice but staff members sweeping up Round are table while we was eating was not good Also the toilets where very poor standard not clean

After seeing wonderful reviews for this restaurant I was excited to go, however I have to say I was disappointed. The steak went cold quite quickly and the waiters weren’t very welcoming. I was also promised being moved by the heaters however, I wasn’t even when a space became free. Wouldn’t go again.

The waiter forgot our drinks and also my daughter’s starter. Then when we asked about it they said that they had run out. They served diagonally accross the table which is not correct waiter serving etiquette and overall the experience was disappointing.

Made a booking in advance, they didn’t take my name, just took me to a table. On the menu lack of understanding about dairy allergy staff unable to know what was in food when asked and had to go to the kitchen on note then one occasion, appeared to be waiting staff friend arrived and stood around them more then dealing with customers, heard waiting staff talking about my allergy felt very uncomfortable after this point.

Expected so much more from here. Food was subpar. Ambience was subpar. Drinks was subpar. Service was subpar. Very disappointed and won’t be eating here again
Party of 6 placed right next to rear entrance door, freezing every time door opened. Asked to be moved but fully booked. Took over 30 min to be offered any drinks or menus. Food took a very long time to come. The biggest problem was the noise level, we could not talk to our each other,, had to shout all night. Very disappointing.

We sat down and within 40 mins we went through 3 courses, prawn table tasters consisted of 3 small battered butterfly prawns all in all waiters/ess were good mannered and attentive but service was rushed and no one acknowledged our departure. We did visit on a bank holiday weekend but expected better.
Underwhelming. No piano player, drafty room, 1 tiger prawn in the risotto, limited veggie options. Overpriced and underdelivered.
