I'm pretty hard on my cars and recently looked for a mechanic in Redwood City initially because of a hard start problem during cold days. I've gone to 2 mechanics in Seattle who couldn't diagnose it and Will was able to find out what was wrong and fix it. My son recommended this shop about 4 yrs ago & I've trusted my cars to Will & his dad ever since. They are honest, knowledgeable, & have integrity. I have learned a lot from them about my cars & how to care for them. And they both have a great sense humor; not inpeirative yet makes the drudgery of car maintenance more palatable . Thank you!

So grateful for the help Will has provided. A few months ago someone tried to cyphine my gas tank and Will provided assistance to this awful problem. Then recently I got into a fender bender and he has helped me a ton! Dealing with all aspects of this can cause a huge nightmare and he has done everything possible to make this as painless as it can be. I will never go to anyone else. Thank you will for your honesty and being a respectable business owner! I truly appreciate it.

Took the car in for an oil change and inspection at another shop on the day after Thanksgiving. Several problems were discovered that needed to be fixed before driving the car to Oregon. That shop was very busy and couldn't get the repairs done that day. Found Ray's via the O'Reilly auto parts web site. What a great find! Wil was very knowledgeable and reassuring. Great service, knowledgable mechanics, fair pricing and quick turn around time. Whenever my car seems a little fishy, I think "Time to call Wil at Ray's..." We don't trust our cars with anyone else!

I have been going to Ray's for 2+ years now and can honestly say I have never had better car repair/maintenace experiences anywhere else! This place is the best! A good friend of mine, who heard my Landrover coming, said what's going on with your car? My car was towed to Ray's at night and I was at the mercy of my insurance company to dictate where I took it so the cost to tow would be free. It turned out so well and I am going to recommend Ray's to everyone I know. I had my car back the same day they worked on it and the quote they gave me was exactly what I paid. A few weeks ago, my partner's 1997 Saturn had a water pump blow out on 280 with me as the sole driver of the day; and I had to quickly search for a mechanic that could assess the damage and fix it in a timely manner. I have gone to Ray's for several years after my brother recommended them. I first went after being told by Anderson Chevrolet that I needed to replace the water pump on my Suburban. Will quoted original Delphi parts and did it for less than half of what I would pay the dealer who very soon after went out of business. They did a great job and he was patient explaining everything.
