I was on the ely Lily brand mounjaro at a 2.5 mg dose. I went to strive pharmacy because insurance stopped covering it. They claim their Tirzepitide is superior. I went on a 7.5 mg dose from Strive and I might as well have injected water. When I contacted Strive telling them, they told me that the medicine stops working after a while. Which is complete bullshit. Strive pharmacies 7.5 mg, three times higher than the dose I was taking from Eli Lilly. Was ineffective and did not work. They are ripping people off bottom line. Terrible communication. When texting them, you receive different answers from different people. Very slow to fill RX.
Very slow process in dispensing medications. Once received, the pumping device was defective and I contacted the pharmacy for a replacement. The dispensing pharmacy was located in St. Louis, MO. While the customer service was friendly at all times, it took over 10 days to receive the replacement medication.
Terrible customer service and it takes weeks to get medication refills. They had my name wrong in their system and so were confused and so it took longer to process my refill. Then they refused to overnight the medication even though I needed it. And my name continues to be wrong in their system.
Twice I've had their bottles malfunction about halfway through. The syringe just stopped being able to pull out the medication. I chalked it up to a one time error the first time and just sucked up the cost of the VERY expensive medication. The second time it happened I called. They told me my 30 day window had passed, even though the meds last me much longer than 30 days. Replacing the remaining amount would be a drop in the bucket for them. Since Leesburg Compounding center was transitioned over to Strive the pharmacy has been a total nightmare. I have two cats that need Thyroid medication and the prescriptions were very clear that one was a cream and the other was an oil. When I went to pick up both prescriptions I was told they ran out of oil and therefore filled the cream for my 19 year old cat that is allergic to the cream. Unethical pricing. $55 for 15 gm Jan 2024. $105 for 10 gm Jan 2025, (+ $10 shipping). Not a price increase for everyone. Less of the same product for increased cost to me. They do not assign prices based on quantity dispensed. They assign prices based on the number of days supplied. So if I take it less days per week, the prescription lasts more days and the price is higher. Multiple phone calls to negotiate. DO NOT USE THIS PHARMACY OR LEVITY! They care more about their bottom line than they do your health and well being. I received a medication that was frozen, compounding semaglutide last week. Sinice I have never taken this before I wanted to make sure it was safe to use after frozen. I found that it is NOT SAFE to take after frozen and you should throw it away. My inadequate doctor prescribed a 6 week supply of Tirzepatide from Strive & it was like taking water. It didn't curb my appetite or boost my energy. I requested a refund and of course they didn't reply. Do yourself a favor & stay away, it's a rip-off.
