Food was cold...Eggplant parm sandwich was not cooked enough. Batter was not cooked enough and very cold. Stuffed cod was also cold. This very unusual. Have not had a problem in the past with the food. Hoping it was a fluke!
Food was cold, air was cold, order was not correct(wrong salad dressing but was fixed , after waiting to see server again) one meal was served without sauce(dry noodles) again fixed with warm sauce which helped on cold noodles) I would have thought they would bring out warm noodles with sauce rather than sauce to put on now really cold really dried out noodles). Not impressed at all for first visit to this restaurant. We are in New England from California for a family function and used open table to find a place to eat befor... read more
I got the eggplant & chicken parm and it was not very tasty at all. The best part of the meal was the bread.
Our waitress got 2/4 of the orders wrong. The place looks a bit run-down but was nevertheless busy. There are better Italian restaurants in town considering the price.
The hostess HORRIBLE!!!! We came in with a reservation and she kept sitting people around us... even if they came in after else or with more people and did not have a reservation at all. It took the other hostess like 20 mins to finally seat us. It was awful. I came with my mother, husband and son hence why we made the reservation. I was very unhappy with the service and the lack of communication and thought that we received. I am not sure I will return again.
Food was poor. Veal was like rubber. Spaghetti was reheated.temp of food was below warm.
The food was cold when we received it, straight from the oven. We had to wait for a child’s pizza while all 4 other people had their adult meals.
I ordered the lob shrimp scallop Diavalo with the butter garlic and wine and it came swimming in what looked like beef broth, no garlic taste and no butter taste. One claw the tip of another claw 3 scallops that looked cut and a couple of shrimp. I should have sent it back but I was hungry and just wanted to eat my dinner and go home. Me bad next time I will complain if it’s as bad. For 27.95 they can fill it with more seafood.
Let me first start by saying we go to the Chateau regularly and the food has generally been pretty good. On our last two visits the food was worse than poor. I am a big fan of their lobster, shrimp and scallop diavalo dish and order it frequently. I order it with gluten free pasta and always preface my order with I like the pasta extra al dente. For the occasional wait person who may not know what that means I further say I like the pasta extra firm to the pint of almost being crunchy. On our last two occasions my pasta came... read more
