We have been long time customers of the Chateau and this experience has made us never want to come back unfortunately. The food was sub par and Luke warm. My sons Mac n cheese was pretty much congealed. The service was non-existent. I hate to write a review like this but we never saw our server for more than to take our order and to give us our check. We had to seek him out for refills and couldn’t even talk to him about the lackluster food. Unfortunately, I don’t think this was a fluke.
Friday night dinner with friends. Food was not very good. Chicken Marsala had no flavor and the Toasted Ravioli appetizer was over cooked. Drinks from the bar also not great. I’ve been here a few times before which was great, but this was not a good experience. Disappointed.
the waitress was not attenuative at all even though the restaurant was not crowded order two appetizers first one came out luke warm if that the second a small pizza came out under cooked . for the dinner the pasta was over cooked
A chopped salad at Chateau consists of corn and beets. It was terrible. The salmon tasted like they just nuked it in the microwave. Terrible food!
I would not suggest going during the pandemic because for the price we paid... we got literally a quarter of the food. I have been going to the Chateau for years and I was very disappointed
1st course - calamari just rings ..frozen product which they tasted like it 2nd course - kids chicken nuggets looked like mc Donald’s, veal parmigiana was rubber tasted like they threw it in the fryer and then put sauce and cheese and put it in the salamander Positive - the new sangria was good and our waiter was on point This will be the first and last time I come here
It was the only place nearby that we could get a reservation. The bread is cold - they should think about heating up the bread. The meals were just “ok”. We know we aren’t getting “North End” Italian food but our meals could be better.
Good social distancing measures, but our server was having a rough night. She was not friendly, forgetful of part of the order, and then rude we brought it to her attention. The meals were also cold, and one was very overcooked. This is not typical of Chateau, they are normally an outstanding small family chain. We'll stick with our local Chateau in Norton, where they are always 5-star.
Go here frequently. Took awhile to get waited on and then to get our beverages. Then took a very longtime to get our food. It wasn’t even busy at all. We were told the food was coming out slow due to take out orders. I guess it does not matter about the people actually eating in their building. Odd. When we did get our food my spaghetti with meat sauce, was all watery like it was not strained. Sent it back and got it back quickly, however with a third of the pasta, I had in my soupy order. Usually good service and timely del... read more
