Very bad food and quality. My ravioli its frozen inside.
Had the Greek salad with chicken. The lettuce had many wilted, old lettuce shreds and generally looked and tasted like it had been sitting out and was not that fresh tasting. Also tomatoes were more like winter tomatoes, not juicy, were dried out and several end slices with remnants of core. White balsamic dressing was mostly oil and not chilled. Kind of disappointing after waiting so long to be able to come back for their Greek salad which is usually very fresh and tastes newly prepared.
Lobster casserole was overcooked and dry. The antipasto was unimpressive for an Italian restaurant.
We were a party of 7. Were seated immediately and the server took our drink order. She was back in 3 mins and asked us what we wanted from the menu. We felt very rushed and asked for a few more mins. She came back and one of our guests had a few questions which she asked but then made the statement, “there’s only so much we can do with the menu. We’re a “knock off” restaurant.” Myself and one other order the veal parm. STEER CLEAR of this selection. The veal was very tough and rubbery. My son in law ordered the steak tips. S... read more
Waltham is 100% better
We have been to the Chateau many times in the past - we have NEVER had to wait for as long as we did for our food to come out - and of course when it did-my husband’s dish was cold (chicken parm) and my mother’s also (Haddock). We noticed and felt bad that there wasn’t enough wait staff- but never got an apology or asked how the meal was once it came out the second time or even a refill on our drinks. You lost a customer.
Food was cold...Eggplant parm sandwich was not cooked enough. Batter was not cooked enough and very cold. Stuffed cod was also cold. This very unusual. Have not had a problem in the past with the food. Hoping it was a fluke!
Food was cold, air was cold, order was not correct(wrong salad dressing but was fixed , after waiting to see server again) one meal was served without sauce(dry noodles) again fixed with warm sauce which helped on cold noodles) I would have thought they would bring out warm noodles with sauce rather than sauce to put on now really cold really dried out noodles). Not impressed at all for first visit to this restaurant. We are in New England from California for a family function and used open table to find a place to eat befor... read more
I got the eggplant & chicken parm and it was not very tasty at all. The best part of the meal was the bread.
