It was our first time dining here and we were not disappointed. Food and service was excellent! Thank you, Dave, for taking good care of us. It's a beautifully restored space and we will be back.
Great ambiance and excellent food served well. Just a little pricey. The space may not allow for a small jazz ensemble but if able it could add to the evening
The atmosphere is gorgeous, it is a step back in time. The scallops were superb! The pork schnitzel was weirdly tasteless! The appetizer snack tray was good. Service was excellent! To stay in business the food needs to be revamped!
Great food and terrific service. A really cool spot with a lot of old St. Paul history... and excellent cocktails to boot!
Great atmosphere and ambiance. Feels like you are walking into the 1930s. Great drinks. Food is good, but a bit over-priced. Good place to go for a drink or special occasion. Overall a neat experience.
We enjoyed the Commodore for Valentine's Dinner this year. Our server, Jeff, could not have been better. Our food was delicious. The ham and cheese croquettes reminded me of Spain! We were, however, very disappointed in the bar service prior to getting seated. I have heard from others since that their experience in the bar has been similar.
Our food was amazing! Beautiful presentation! Top notch service! Lovely venue! We will be back!!
Classic, historic gangster era setting. Hospitality, service and food are top notch. Very extensive wine list, but there are $30 offerings tbat ard quite good.
2nd visit and the unique, cool feel of this restaurant, especially the bar area, brought us back. Maybe it's the history of the building, but there just doesn't seem to be many venues like this around the Cities. The service and food were both excellent, same as visit #1.
