Great service, food and romantic setting! We had a great time!
First time at the Commodore and won't be the last. Great food, service, and ambiance. Enjoyed dinner and then moved to one of the lounge areas for an after dinner cocktail. Lovely seating areas.
Our table was perfect just wish there would have been someone playing the grand piano in the corner.
We were seated promptly at our reservation time however service was 15 or 20 minutes before we received menus or were acknowledged. Even then I had to loudly say ". The ambiance, food and service made for a memorable evening. Portions were generous - two of us brought food home. Price tag for three was just under $200 - a little too pricey to dine there often, but reasonable for a special occasion. All in all, I would recommend The Commodore with an enthusiastic thumbs-up!
Great to see this place restored , updated and re-opened... of great historical interest, F S Fitz and all and just a nice venue...... well-pleased. Did a HS prom here..... decades ago.
I had heard about the Commador for a while and had not taken the opportunity to visit. My loss! I thought the lounges before dinner were great, dinner was a wonderful experience and staff were very attentive without being intrusive. A great balance. Joined the Bootleggers Club and look forward to regular visits. Go enjoy a visit.
Great food, excellent service with wonderful pictures and posters on the wall - along with stories about the history of the Commodore.
Had a lovely dinner in the dining room, and then enjoyed a drink in the bar. It felt as though we had stepped back in time as we enjoyed out surroundings. A friend took photos of us in the bar as we celebrated our anniversary. What a great setting for a special occasion.
