This is worst gym i ever been, i wanted to end my contract and i sent them the email by end of our contract which was end of july but they kept pending and charged me for 2 additional months for august and September just to charge maintenance fee for another year which I already end my contract with them. I want refund 150 dollars.

I tried to cancel my membership to switch gyms but was told I was in a year long contract, which I was not notified about over the phone, the gym is trying to use this against me and refuses to allow me to cancel

Dear Edge Fitness Management, I am writing to formally file a complaint regarding the unprofessional conduct I experienced at one of your facilities. Disgusting. Scammed my son into a “one month membership before college” and said just cancel next day. Which he did. Pulled money out of checking account so it cost $150 for a one month membership. Scam contract. manager was supposed to email me documentation and refund second payment. Third call to the edge. “It’s on the way” Yeah, I have heard that before.

I have been trying to cancel my membership for over a month, but without success. The support I have received from The Edge Fitness and ABC Solutions has been extremely disappointing. I only get copy-pasted messages generated by AI, which show a complete lack of care for the customer’s request. Even with a doctor’s note confirming my pregnancy, I was unable to cancel my membership. I joined The Edge Fitness Club (********** ** location) in April 2025. At the time of signup, I was not clearly informed that the membership was a 12-month contract with extremely limited cancellation options. I was led to believe it was a cancel-anytime membership. First and foremost, I was not under any current contract when the following occurred. My bank issued me a new debit card that was being billed monthly by Edge Fitness. I was out of the State and figured I'd handle it when I got back. That's when I started receiving daily multiple calls from annoying salesmen regarding my account. This place is an absolute scam. I canceled my membership back in December 2024 but the manager at the time did not fully complete the cancellation. Since then I have had money removed from my account for yearly membership and monthly memberships. I kept calling trying to get this resolved for MONTHS. They refused to remove my bank account from my account. They kept stalling and never did the cancellation correctly until JUNE 2025. Now I am fighting to still get all my money back.
