So bad management ,the maintenance supervisor makes repairs and in less than a month he has to repair them again because the material that he's using is not new . The office is always closed and they never answer the phones. In these apartments(if you can call these apartments) You will find mouses, cockroaches ,trash in the parking lot ,the water in the pool is green because they never clean it and you will see homeless sleeping on the stairs,I don't recommend them.

Lived here for a good bit to write a review. Complex is alright. I am in a studio apt and I really don't think it is worth what I am paying for. Here's my list of cons... Everything is very cheaply made. The 'wood' floors are nothing more than cheap laminate that already have nails coming through it. Soft spots throughout the whole place. Very over priced for the area and what you get for the price. Never fixed the noise problem all u smell is pot in the hall ways parking was horrible. The people that managed the building prior seem to be more on TOP of everything hated to see them leave. When u have a huge turn around in you moving in and out is a sign that something is wrong. Update: I wanted this place to be great and it started off fine. They were helpful and friendly and attended to any maintenance issues promptly, great start. Then the truth of the crappy management and cheap antics hit. First: there was never enough parking. I worked late a lot of the times and didn't get home until after 9pm and there was never anywhere to park! Does Marquee understand their location is North NORTH Hollywood? The +$1800 monthly rate for a one bedroom competes with buildings much closer to Studio City/SO, and of a much higher caliber. All in all, I got accepted, paid the holding fee, and they gave my apartment away! Luckily I found a great apartment within half a mile for $800 LESS. Meh First thing I would like to say is the prices of these places could be beat. My girlfriend and I applied for a place here and we felt like the situation was not handled the best with slim to no contact between ourselves in the agents in the process of approval and declination. At the end we found a place very close for about $800 cheaper and more square footage. My recommendation is when you are looking for a place in this area don't stop here just look harder. And they do not have apple juice in the office.

Julia and everyone who works here uncaring people. I can't believe that they took over as managers. They gave me ten days to clean my apartment. They actually said that my hiring a cleaning crew was not good enough! And they also said that my apartment was so bad after cleaning everything that they are going tell all future landlords about my unclean apartment! They are the worst managers ever!

If you like living with thugs and being managed by high school drop outs, all the while fearing for your life while surrounded by cockroaches, this is the place for you. BTW, you won't be getting your security deposit back. Oh, and they will raise your rent the maximum allowed every 12 months even if you are their best tenant.
Don't judge a book by it's cover! Stay away from The Marquee Apts. They look beautiful on the outside but on the inside the company, leasing agents and Management are spoiled to the core. The current manager Julia is rude, obnoxious, and mean spirited. Customer service is not in her vocabulary. She has no use for you outside of taking your money and discarding you as a non-factor.
