Luckily I moved from this place. It is absolutely atrocious. Everything that is being said is true. I personally know that at least one of these reviews was given based on given back the full security deposit...therefore the positive posts are only given just so individuals can get their full security deposit back. There is a huge roach infestation. When I did the walk through I asked the gentleman about the roach issue. He is gay, so when he told me he also lived in the apartment complex I felt safer. I liked living here when I first moved here years ago but every time they switched management it got worse. By the time I left this place there were roaches everywhere. I would try to contain it but after being gone for 2 days, when I came back there were so many I couldn't live here anymore. I went straight to the leasing office and demanded I be moved to another unit which they did allow me to move from that 1 bedroom to a studio but I still had to pay the same price of the 1 bed they said. *** Please Note that rather than addressing any concerns tenants share here on Yelp, the email address "Ross M." keeps sharing goes only to the same property manager we're all complaining about. The absolute worst place to live. There are people rummaging through the garbage, vandalizing your car, terrible parking situation. In addition, the management is poor. They lie about rules just so they can keep you deposit. Find somewhere else to live or rent at your own risk.

I loved living here at first. It was trendy and the leasing office was hospitable. The huge benefits to living here are the free utilities and a friendly neighborly community. I loved everything about my apartment. My complaint is about the unprofessionalism of the leasing office, which altered my entire experience and eventually drove me out of there. This place has officially reached the bottom of the hill. It's not going down hill it's already at the bottom. Besides the roaches, horrible parking and thin walls, maintenance is a huge CHEAP issue.  Any time I have any sort of maintenance request it's ignored, then delayed, then I get a notice of completion when it hasn't be completed. When my request is finally completed it's at the absolute lowest quality. My bathtub had been chipping off flakes of who knows what. Instead of fixing it, it gets repeatedly spray painted...... read more

This place is a JOKE! And that's being nice...Let's start with when I first applied to The Marquee, after a week of not hearing anything back regarding my application I had to email THEM back and get an update. They said oh yea you got accepted. Ok great, fast forward to after I moved in...First off they failed to clean the apartment before I moved in so I had to do it myself; one burner on the stove doesn't work; the microwave door jams every other day and two buttons are completely broken; the fridge makes this awful loud ... read more

As resident of the Marquee for over seven years, I was, sadly, witness to its steady decline. What was once a rather decent pocket in North Hollywood with respectful tenants and a pretty nice pool, has become a thriving wasteland for people with zero regard for anyone but themselves: tenants and managers alike. Yes, yes, I know, this is Los Angeles after all...but I digress. I appreciate the response Ross I'm finding out it's the only way to get a response is through "yelp*". I would like to know what address anything has been sent to and how you would have any other address, phone number or email address attached to me.
