To all who cares to know. The only thing great about the Marquee Apartment is the name. Please keep a record of everything you communicate with management., because they will NEVER respond to your emails or voicemails. This is actually the WORST place to live. A hostile is better. Management do not care about any of their tenants and their concerns. When they take you on a tour of the property they will show you the model unit and all the common areas and tell you about the location convenience to the 405,101 and Burbank ... read more

They have bugs and don't do anything about it! They took my deposit without letting me know why! They are scammers and don't fix anything They don't even return emails DONT MOVE HERE !

Back again. Almost 2 months to the day after my last review. I received a "wonderful" phone call from management after my last review, from Stephanie, I think. Stephanie seemed awesome. I was impressed and told her as much. I was weepy on the phone because she was so sweet and seemed like she really wanted to help. However, NOTHING that we spoke about has happened. I've lived here 4+ years & I've been been dealing with these people that live above me for 2.5 years it's apartment #245. The office told me they have a law suit against them so there hands are tied but I've been living in a nightmare situation for a long time. So be careful for moving here because when you have nightmare neighbors, the office will do nothing to protect you. This is one of the worst apartment complexes I have ever lived in. I have been in LA over 15 years and have never experienced such an awful place. The front desk will never answer your call and if you do get somebody, they will say no one can help and to expect a call back. WHICH WILL NEVER HAPPEN. I dealt with people trying to come into my place in the middle of the night and theft from my vehicle. I am now moved out, thank god, and they are attempting to charge for tub reglazing. I've only been occupying this place for a few months and ever since I moved in I been wanting to move out they have a huge roach problem that they do not really care about fixing the people in the office state that they are going to do something but never fix anything I've had my cabinets broken in my apartment since I've moved in and I have been told multiple times that they are going to fix it and it just keeps getting worse. So frustrating. In the two+ years I've lived here, my hot water has gone out NO LESS THAN 20 TIMES! Imagine having to get up to go to work and not even sure if you will have hot water for the day... AND have a medical condition. Their excuse is always the "water heater is too big" or something going on with it. So.... I'm not understand what other people are seeing. Or even experiencing but yea... I don't know. Obviously I was not expecting the red carpet rolled out (given the area) but I kind expected some type of hospitality since I was coming to view an apartment, possibly being a future rented. I've seen seen several negative reviews be removed. And they do not violate any terms. Instead of being defensive and trying to trick people into thinking this place is somewhat ideal, fix the issues. The areas that need to be improved are your staff in the leasing office. How about you employ friendly professional staff. Not passive aggressive, unhelpful, rude people. Why don't you use your budget to supply everyone with working key fobs.
