These people are worried about “curb appeal” and your flower beds but won’t pressure wash houses. My house is covered in mildew and mold and no one cares. I’ve asked many times for it to pressure washed. The parks in McGraw are terrible. Aside from being unkept they make no sense. No swings. Looks like an abstract artist designed them. No fun for kids at all.

The VoB are the most disappointing housing that we have come in contact with in 8 years of military service. They are inconsistent, each person gives a different answer or reasoning, no one communicates to one another or the tenants. When we moved in the end 2017 I specifically asked about transferring once my husband made rank to qualify for different community and was as long as we are month to month we can get on the transfer list with no problem and no monetary fee. Fast forward to now a year and half and they have now ... read more

The Villages of Benning takes advantage of soldiers and their families. No other post that we’ve stationed charges a fee to transfer once lease is up. My husband ranked changed and makes us qualified for Patton/ McGraw and they charge a $1200 transfer fee!!! $1200 is an insane amount of money. This is outrageous, even though we are in a month to month lease. When asked why, was told “convenience fee.” What convenience are we talking about here if I have to clean my current house, do lawn maintenance and make sure it’s ready ... read more

Business response:

We apologize for any miscommunication. There is a $1,200 TOS fee associated with transferring onsite, which is clearly outlined in our TOS policy. The TOS policy can be found on our community website, www.villagesofbenning.com. We would be happy to answer any questions that you may have in regards to the process. Please contact your community management office directly or our Assistant Community Director or Director at 706-685-3939.

Maintenance needs to follow up on work orders. This is the second time they've been insanely slow (5 days) Our dishwasher was down for a Month and now our Oven and stovetop have not worked for 5 days. I wonder who gets stuck paying to eat out? Yeah, that's me.

Was given a notice to take down my Christmas decor... it’s been raining, so the next nice day was going to absolutely take them down... first nice day and I get home around noon and already a VIOLATION on my door. I’m not sure what sort of violations you guys get but my drawers are sill broken and I haven’t complained, not once even tho I was told they would be fixed. My husband is TDY and I work, 3 kids so yeah the decor wasn’t top of my priority list, but when I got the first notice it was, but unless you want to take c... read more
