I will update this review as time passes. For now though what a terrible experience! To clarify I have not moved into a house yet... this review is solely on my experience as of now. 2 months ago I called housing and told them I received my orders and would like to be put on the wait list (expecting the same process I have been through on the last 2 bases we lived on) the answer I recieved was far from what I was expecting! They told me I can put in an application but I CAN NOT be put on the 4-6 week waitlist until I Final ... read more

The Villages of Benning are horrible, and has been from day 1. We moved in July 24th, and from the time we walked in you could smell the nasty carpet that hasn't been replaced. Our home was vacant for an entire year before we moved in, why? No one can answer that question. The back door leaked water and the door frame was rotten, who did the inspection? The ceilings have brown water stains covered by a bad paint job. Roaches were found in the drawers in the kitchen, roaches in the bathroom, roaches everywhere. My almost 2 ye... read more

We've been on the housing list for about 2 months now and upon our arrival to fort benning we were told it would be 2-3 weeks to get Patton or MCcgraw housing. We've been living in a hotel for 3 weeks today. (Which is getting very expensive) We are number 15 on the waiting list. Which seems like it's going to take a while before we even get into a place. I feel if you're going to tell us it's going to be 2-3 weeks to get in a house then that's what it should be. This hasn't been a pleasant experience at all.

We've been living here for just over a year. The lawn care is horrible. The house itself is mediocre at best. Poorly built, lots of wasted space, and not enough space or quality to justify BAH. There's paint splatter all over the floors. It's all just so sloppy. We had tack strips sticking out of the carpet, which maintence just hammered down. We've also been without an oven for a week, and have been told it will be another two weeks before maintence can get the part to fix the oven. I'm sorry, but not having an oven for thr... read more

Have lived here for 2 years now and would have to say its a bit below par compared to other military housing areas we have stayed in. We have no issue with getting work orders completed but the landscaping around here is horrible. Literally on the side of our house there is a huge washout that is eroding. And this is happening all over Patton Village. Makes absolutely no sense at all that some houses have chain fence and others have the nice white fence.

We enjoy living on post in McGraw Village. Very close to the kids school and the housing and community are nice.
