$10 exam wasn't worth the $10. Went to Thrive for the annual visit (exam and vaccines). Vet noted, but wasn't concerned with growth on head of my dog when we visited in April 2015.. the vet essentially called it an "old lady wart" (dog was 11 at the time.) They noted that the dog needed dental cleaning and had a heart murmur. But it was very cheap for the annual visit, and I was initially satisfied with the visit. Fast forward to my next annual visit.. We went to Thrive for the first time due to recommendations, but are unlikely to return. When I showed up early with vet records assuming there would be paperwork to fill out, I was given nothing. I kept bringing up her records to the tech and vet, and no one there ever even looked at them. Every single vet we've ever been to always copies previous shot/vet records. Always. I made an appointment 2 weeks ago to get basic shots for my kittens. I arrived 5 minutes early and there was no receptionist for 10 minutes. I waited 45 minutes before I was called into a room. A tech came in went over what we were doing then left the room and didnt come back for over 20 minutes. I have a lot of patience when it comes to things like this but the lack of staff and communication about being behind on time made me walk out which I have never done before. Do not go here! I brought my 7 year old dog in for his annual shots/exam. My regular vet was closed for remodeling, so I decided to bring him to Thrive. They did not listen to me when I told them he needed to stay with me because he gets very scared/distressed at the vet. Instead, we muzzled him and they brought him in and out of the room to the back about 3 times making him more and more anxious each time. Don't go here. The staff was rude and apparently ignore past shot records. I took my 8 week old puppy here for a checkup and to set up a vaccination schedule. I showed the staff his shot record (he had his first DHPP shot 4 days earlier) and told her that he already had his first set of shots. Rather than take this into account, she takes him back (they take your dogs to some other room to do the checkup and give the vaccinations and don't let you go back with them) and gave him another DHPP only 4 days after his first! The staff here are flat out rude and lazy. There is never anyone at the front desk. Too cheap to hire a receptionist? I sign myself in and have to weigh my dog for them. Aren't I paying y'all for that? Apologies for wasting 2 seconds of your time to weigh my dog. I came here last week for a check up on a Tuesday because Emancipet was closed. When I called to schedule the last set of puppy vaccinations I asked about neutering. They said they could do a consultation/estimate the same day of vaccinations. Sounded good. I've been to this specific location twice. Most employees are not friendly.. Both times I walked in there was no one at the front desk. That's fine. Just something to note. To be honest, I am a bit annoyed with them. The staff is always rude, and seems to scold people. I have come in and witnessed their annoyance with walk-ins towards other people, when they have a sign about welcoming walk-ins.... so what gives? I'm not sure why the doctor never seems to be there, I had another guy come in when my dog had allergies. I also had a concern about how sad he gets when my hubby leaves, and for some reason this guy found this to be hilarious. I didn't. However, I do like their transparent invoices.... read more

We took our almost 7 year old dog there. She's been limping for a while so we wanted to get x-rays. We told her that we thought she might have hip dysplasia. (We've been through this before with two other dogs so we knew what to look for.)
