Staff was very nice and knowledgeable. I thought my cat was going to be terrified but he actually snuggled with the tech. It was such a nice first visit for us and not bad pricing.
Today was our first visit to Thrive South Lamar. The front desk staff was very pleasant and got us into a room quickly. We came in for vaccinations and I had a concern about a hot spot. They were able to get a doctor in to see us at the same time even though it was just a tech visit. The doctor was nice and let me talk about my concerns. I really appreciated how sweet everyone was. We will definitely be back.
Alice and Dr. Higden were amazing with my puppy. She was nervous but they were gentle and took great care of her.
Very nice facility, however I arrived for an initial wellness appt with my cat and waited 45 mins after the appt time before even being seen by a tech. Then, after the wellness exam, instead of listening to concerns about an upper respiratory infection that my cat had been treated for a couple months ago, the vet was insistent on treating for allergies instead of testing. Very nice employees and vet... basic examine and it's annual shots for my dog came out to roughly $500, some up charge on vaccinations but not too bad

They were very efficient and informative not to mention affordable. They were exactly what my puppy and I needed!
Best vet ever. I drive a ways with my cat, which as you can imagine can be unpleasant. But they got me in when no one else could. Got my kitten a visit, consult, shots, spay, microchip all within three days. That kitten was stolen in my neighborhood later that week. They were so kind about hoping I found her. I eventually did. She just needed another shot and they did her solid. She didnt even try to bite anyone- being a wild one - thought she would l. I HIGHLY recommend Thrive on oltorf
I just lost my 6yo lab unexpectedly from what we think was a brain tumor. They were able to get me in the day it was time, and made sure the process was as peaceful as possible. I was a mess and unprepared. I opted to have her ashes returned, and I'm glad I did. Not only did they come in a beautiful wood box, but I was also given an ink print of her nose & paw,clippings of her hair, and a clay paw print with her name (things I didn't have time or the mental capacity to think about).
