Words can't express my gratitude to Dr. Sosa for the care that he gave my gravely ill, beloved pet. From the time of diagnoses to the end, he was kind, thoughtful and my sweet dog was always calm in his presence. He also made weekly phone calls during her treatment to check on how she was tolerating her meds. He cares and that is how a veterinary practice should be. The man at the front desk that turned out to be our Vet Tech was rude and hard to understand. The actual Vet was nice and pretty knowledgeable. I don't like that they take your dog all the way to the back to do anything and don't allow you in there. I get that for clipping nails and stuff like that but if you're sticking your finger up my dog's butt or doing any of those kinds of exams I would like to be present to make sure they are being careful with her. I took my two little ones to Thrive Oltorf yesterday, and our experience was great! We had no trouble making an appointment, just a few days ahead of time. On both dogs they did a blood draw for heartworm test, rabies, parvo, bordatello, distemper (the usual) AND an exam by the vet. Total bill was $128! I defy you to find a better deal! They did take my dogs to the back for the exam and shots, but only after asking my permission, and offering to do it in the room.
