I arrived and parking was complicated because of how busy the restaurant is next door however a kind security guard offered to help me since I had my dog and baby with me alone. When I arrived the woman at the front desk/nurse was so kind and gentle. The doctor was informative and friendly, my pup was super comfortable even though it was her first time there! I love this place!!! I'm so grateful a friend recommended this place to me. I just moved here from Virginia and needed a vet. I took Winnie for a check up, heart worm medicine, and to have some bumps examined. I was able to squeeze in the same day I called due to a cancellation. When I arrived, the front office staff was very friendly and we got checked in right away. We were seen about 5 minutes later. Since moving to Austin I have been trying to find a vet office that my dog and I feel comfortable at and is affordable. I'm happy to say Thrive is amazing. The space is clean, the staff is friendly, and the vets and vet techs super knowledgeable and kind. I found myself at Thrive after being quoted over $2500 at PAZ for a dental cleaning and needle biopsy for a lump. Thrive quoted me $600 for the same services. I really loved how the technician handled my dog. She was caring, attentive to my Ruby. My dog is an American bully XL and she doesn't take to people she doesn't know very well but nikole the technician knew how to handle her and Ruby warmed up to her really well. I will be coming to this location and request for Nikole every time
I've been going to thrive for 4 years and I've always thought they were good but today I feel like they just became great. Dr Thompson and Nicole took so much time with us to explain every step of the way the head to to exam not leaving any unanswered questions. We have a senior dog and they took such great care and patience with her. Thank you! Thank you for taking care of our baby like your own. We hope to continue to have them care for us.

Shout out to Denise!! My milo was in bad shape and after being place on a hold for a month before being seen from his primary vet I decided to look elsewhere. Finding Thrive was a blessing especially Denise who was able to book me in next day. Very patient understanding and empathetic I highly recommend.

Denise is a gem! I called this morning needing to get my sick cat fluids and she found a way to help me, even though they were booked for the day. She walked me though all the medical steps, and then found me the best care package moving forward. Her customer service is stellar and my cat even tolerated her putting a needle in him well too. We had a great experience!

I was VERY satisfied with my recent trip to THRIVE Oltorf! First off, they offer appointments -- far more convenient than only offering walk-ins. I had to wait 4+ hours for a walk-in at other affordable vet clinics, which is so troublesome if you need to drive back and forth. Second, the actual waiting time after checking in was less than 5 minutes.
