Definitely not the best vet. For an affordable option for shots, I'm sure it's fine. But they really don't care and will never offer anything beyond the bare minimum. Tried calling to get some information and it was a huge hassle and they basically stonewalled me rather than actually helping out. All I can say is get anything they tell you in writing. I asked about a rattlesnake vacination for my dog. Figured I would get it if it wasn't too epensive. I was told it was $25.00 and that I would have to come back for a booster that was also included. When I came back for the booster a week later I was billed for another exam plus another $25.00 for the booster. Had I known the total cost was going to be $65.00 I never would have gotten the service in the first place. I felt totally scammed.

Checked in at 8:25AM for an 8:30AM appointment for dog to have blood test for dental estimate. At 9:10AM I asked the front desk if the technician knew I had been waiting almost 45 minutes with no other dogs or people in waiting area during that time. He indicated they had other technicians on today but no explanation as to why the delay. 10 minutes later tech came out and said I needed to make another appointment for dental estimate post blood exam. I will never go back here. Went in for a dental consultation and when I got my cat back from her pre-op blood work, I noticed she was licking the air and wet. I removed her from her crate and noticed she was drenched in rubbing alcohol - all down her neck, chest, front leg and back leg. The paper towels I used to clean it off were soaked. This place is a scam and only cares about making money. Ive had my now 15/16 year old cat for three years so I'm still a newbie owner and had NO IDEA that vaccinations are not recommended for senior cats. Thus, per recommendation of my vet, I got him the $100 vaccination package (which by the way looks to be only $89 online). This seemed necessary since I needed him to be tested for Giardia (a parasite that my roommates kitten has). WORST EXPERIENCE EVER with a place. Went in for a simple nail trim for my cat, called the day before and had my appointment set. Arrived for my cat's nail trimming 10 mins early and the people at the front desk were not helpful-- couldn't give me a time on when I'd finally get a tech to cut my cats nails. Appointment time comes around and I ask again--they still say they're waiting for a tech to be available. 25 minutes later they tell me they can't fit me in because my cats needs to see the vet first--WTF WHY WASN'T I TOLD... read more

They will ask for appointment and when you come in you will wait for half an hour. Why do you even ask for appointment then? What's the logic? Apparently they over-schedule their calendar. I never waited this long for any appointment. Learn how to become a professional business, folks. Take your pet somewhere else. Emancipet is much better than this. At least when they call you to come, you are directly taken in.

Lovely front desk woman ; but in terms of vet care & tech care, you get what you pay for. I've had two bad experiences, out of two visits. I won't be back.
