I am disappointed with my cat, Emma nail trim. I specifically asked for her nails be trimmed short short cause she a scratcher! Ouch! Also it was a rough trim her nails are edgy. Other than that, Thrive is still a great place to bring your fur baby. Prices are reasonable.

This is the worst service I have ever had. We cancelled one day prior to the six months and got charged $40 per pet, no where in the contract did it say I would be charged $40 for cancelling early. I think this is a scam of an operation. Instead of taking the $10 for the monthly payment they to the $40 per pet. I would not recommend this to anyone. The service is not that great and is much more expensive than any vet I have ever been to.

Staff was insultingly rude over the phone again. They were rough with my pet. Very Unprofessional.

I totally understand that, with covid, there are restrictions for humans not coming in. However, I have a new puppy who was traumatized by being trapped a couple days ago. He's doing pretty well, but is very nervous around strangers (other than myself) at this point. I wanted to come in to get him chipped & tested for all the things street dogs could have. I asked how they treat skittish dogs & she said she wasn't medically trained to answer that. I asked if a vet tech could answer.... she said that, since I'm not a memb... read more

I am appalled at the customer experience that I just witnessed. Don't go here if you want to be laughed at by their manager during your frustration at the miscommunication of the staff. We came here to get a rattlesnake vaccine that was $29 and then they said "oh he was due for rabies.." and then gave him the shot before confirming with us. I understand legally he needs to get this done but legally I don't have to have it done at this vet . According to their a manger there is nothing that can be done. The shot was given,... read more

Thrive is advertised as an affordable option to other veterinary clinics. The ONLY thing that they are affordable on is their vaccines and office visit fee. I recently took my dog for senior bloodwork and a urinalysis. It was much more, at over $250, than my regular vet in Tomball. They also forgot to trim my dogs nails and address the keratin build up on his nose. He's a pug. I also asked for his Cyclosporine to be refilled. They quoted me $60. It is $40 at my Tomball vet. I recently moved from Galveston but visi... read more

I was just trying to make an appointment to get my puppy a booster round of shots and then see about neutering and I asked the impossible question can I bring my dog and for boosters and a consult on neutering which is required and I got hung up on....what in the hell? Competence much anywhere in the practice? Low rent?

Business response:

If you're able to reach out to woof@thrivevet.com with the phone number that you called in from, we will be able to pull and listen into these phone calls, as well as identify whom you spoke with to make sure that moving forward we can improve. Really terrible experience with this vet. If you have the money to do so, take your pet to any PAZ location- they actually know what they are doing, and give a sh*t about your animals. They're more expensive, but now I understand, it's because you get what you pay for. I'll start with my pets appointments back in November. I have two Boston Terriers, one 9, and one 3. They both just needed their physical exam's, and to be brought up-to-date on their vaccines. My 9 y/o has a large hematoma on his arm which has already been d... read more
