I used the services at this place, few times in the past, once, few years back, I brought my kitty for a consultation with the vet at that time, I had a very nice experience with her, my cat had been vomiting a couple of times during the course of 5 days, and the doctor, she was so nice and kind, knowledgeable and pleasant and I purchased some stuff she suggested to treat the cat at home, and it went really well, he healed completely. however..things seem to have changed a lot lately, like a month ago, I wanted to bring my ... read more

My GSD female 6 month puppy has been a patient here since she was 8 weeks old. I signed her up for the paw plan. I love this plan! It made it so easy to make sure my puppy gets all her shots and is spayed. She recently had her surgery of being fixed. Being a first time mom of a female puppy I was really nervous to take her in for such a major surgery. Knowledgeable Care Providers, Professional Staff and very efficient service management on a day when one of my pets had an emergency. I was expecting a long wait but it wasn't bad at all. The vet asked all the right questions and the front office staff was very professional and explained the invoice thoroughly. I already had our family dog on a Paw Plan and agree the value far outweighs a "pay-as-you-go" plan. After considering the follow-up care agreed this was the best plan for our kitty as well. While I've had great experiences during my visits to Tigard Animal Hospital, one star is taken off for the way one of the doctors handled my dog and our visit. Back when I first adopted my puppy (February), the rescue recommended Tigard for his vaccinations and neutering (which have all been done at this vet). He was still new to us when we brought him in for his next round of shots. I love this place, the vets, techs and front desk staff. They are super sweet to and patient with my rambunctious beasts, which is such a relief when you have "vocal" animals ;)

I've always found the staff to be warm and inviting with the Vets very efficient and great at diagnosis. As another reviewer posted, "It's not a fancy place, but clean, organized and it feels cozy." Our cat was very sick this week, medical procedure and 10-day course of meds for under $70. I'm OK with there being no marble countertops. I'm so glad my cat is better.

Everyone was helpful and courteous. My budget was considered and I really appreciate that. There were 2 emergencies that came in during our visit, the staff checked on us and explained the reason our vet was delayed. Better treatment here than I get when I take my Dad to the doctor!
