This company is not truthful about their fees. At Tigard Animal Hospital, I booked an appointment for a cat nail trim that was listed online as $38. When it was time to pay for the service, I was told that in addition to the amount listed online, I must pay a "tech fee" in case 2 people had to do the nail trim. A $38 nail trim turned into a $62-dollar total fee for a 5-minute service, that may or may not have taken two people to do. I am appalled. When I spoke to the clinic manager the next day, she defended the charge by s... read more
Do not use this vet. There was a mixup in getting an RX for my dog over to Walmart RX which meant I wouldn't receive my dogs medication till after he was to be boarded and needed it. The vet refused to fill it themselves and told me I'd just need to hope Walmart got it filled in time. I had to cancel my vacation and lost over $5000 in non refundable reservations and tickets.
they are a mill - move em in move em out - they are expensive and just feel like a big capitalist churning machine and rotating door with vets and under paid office staff. Find someone better.

Don't ever take your Dog to this Vet. It's all about $$$$ for them, not caring about animals. I took my dog there because he wouldn't eat, they said I could bring him in because it was an emergency ( which has an extra $100 fee)Poor Service, Vet Tech took my information and said she would relay to vet and for me to go home and the Vet would call me later. He called and said he couldn't determine actually what was wrong. Vet never seemed interested in my dogs condition. I came later to pick up my Dog and he said take him hom... read more

Worst experience ever! I spent five consecutive Sat mornings as a walk-in since they could not get Larry, my Yorkie-Shizu in for an appt for FIVE weeks! I have been bringing my fur babies here for 25 years. There are three vets (one in office per day it seems) that seem to work independently without reading each other's notes. Larry was not eating and during the five weeks, was deteriorating. I was given a liquid medication for him that was supposed to last two weeks. I called them after a few days letting them know I was ru... read more

Tracy, we greatly appreciate you taking the time to speak with us and for allowing us to address your concerns. We understand your frustration and will use this feedback to work hard to improve the service we provide our clients and their pets.
I feel badly giving a one-star rating, because every person I interacted with was caring and seemed to be competent at their jobs. However, $300 later and after spending my entire morning there, my cat and I both left feeling traumatized. Their time-management is horrific. Yes, it is a Saturday which I guess is a "walk-in" day, but I had called in two days earlier and was offered an appointment, so I didn't think I would be waiting as long because my cat wasn't a "walk in". No one ever warned me that the appointment coul... read more
Business response:
H, we know your time is valuable and can assure you we make every effort to see clients in a timely manner. As a walk-in clinic we cannot always predict the wait-time. Emergency cases also take priority at times and do cause inevitable delays. We always try to communicate our wait times to the best of our ability. We appreciate you taking the time to reach out and are always open to feedback and suggestions.
I am disappointed with this hospital, again! I had one of my dog's anterior teeth extracted here Feb 2021 and recently the extraction site appears different. It looks like they left root tip behind and it's pushing itself out at this point. I called to schedule a follow-up and they did share that I would need to pay for this visit. I understand that services aren't free. However, I'm disappointed in my previous experiences and this one just tops the cake. I would rather not bring my dog here for any further treatment whe... read more

I have been a customer at Tigard Animal Hospital (TAH) for over 18 years with all my pets. TAH is now managed by Dr. Tello and Hospital Manager, Amie. I do not recommend using TAH for routine Wellness care for your pet. Here is why: I recently learned from Hospital Manager, Amie, that TAH is an emergency Hospital which means scheduled appointments are delayed when emergency animals are brought to Tigard Animal Hospital. Consequently, changes and delays will occur without prior notice. Moreover, Amie revealed that TAH is very... read more

UNBELIEVABLE. After paying $28 for a pedicure all year suddenly the tell me they want $41. No way. I paid the $28 which is higher because they were conveniently located to my home. That's $2.80 per toe. Now they wanted a $15 technician fee plus the $28 pedicure fee. It's approx a. 10-15 minute procedure meaning the techs should be making $60 per hour. No frigging way am I going to pay that. They took it off this time, "since I didn't know". Give me a break. That is the most ridiculous pricing I think I've ever hear of. ... read more
