I am a regular visitor of Tigard Animal Hospital since I foster cats for a local rescue. I also take my personal cat to this vet. My first visit was disappointing, and I did not trust the vet that saw my cat. I almost didn't go back, but the rescue told me to ask for a certain vet and try again. I'm very glad I did. There are only 2 vets that I will take my personal and foster cats to see at Tigard Animal Hospital. I haven't seen all of the vets that work there so I can't say that only two are good, but there is one that I c... read more
Tigard Animal Hospital has been my daughter's regular vet for years but she never really had an urgent pet matter till recently. I was recently babysitting her little kitty when she was out of town and kitty developed a rash and was loosing her fur rapidly. The vet and all the staff were very accommodating and took very good care of both patients, my little kitty and ME! They spend extra time making sure kitty was calm and accepting the exam and them more time calming my nerves and giving me different options to explore. All... read more
After reading the wide variety of reviews I knew that it was time for me to finally tell my story about the exceptional care we have received from Dr. Genova and Tigard Animal Hospital. We moved to Tigard 11 years ago from the midwest with our two cats Annie and Muku. Both cats were rescues and both had some pretty big challenges - - Annie had extreme asthma and Muku had behavior problems, including anxiety and litterbox issues. We were concerned about going to a local vet because we had been taking both cats to one of t... read more
Tigard Animal Hospital really is a great place to take your pets, the people who work there are mostly all great animal lovers. Sarah is the friendliest person there and you can tell she just loves animals, and the other two tall girls, Jill and I can't remember the others name are pretty awesome too. The doctors have all been great as well, Ken Genova is the one that we usually see, although at some point we've seen almost all the doctors there. In all the time I've been going here I have only a couple complaints - they ... read more
TAH is okay-ish. I took my two Vizsla puppies(5 months & 1.5 years) to get shots. The vet techs were nice enough, and the receptionists "babysat" my kids while they checked out the cat for adoption. But in the end, my dogs were not comfortable. The older one, Portia, was loud enough to be heard from the lobby. Oh, and did I mention my dogs had to be moved to the surgery room?! My other dog, Leo, bit the techs so many times that they eventually gave up and told me to give him the shots myself.
Once we moved to this area with our little kitten, we needed to establish a rapport with a vet in the area, and Tigard Animal Hospital was suggested to my wife. We took both our male kitten and a female kitten we adopted later to get fixed, and they treated our little friends perfectly, and they were back to running amok within only a few days. We recently had a problem with our boy cat, who had recently turned one year old. He stopped using the litter box for either function but his mis-goings had no pattern to them. Then,... read more
My bf and I just got a new kitty from a friend of ours few weeks ago. He's adorable, cute, cuddly, has a hipster mustache and beard. He goes by the name of Gizmo. Even tho he's super cute, we don't want him to produce tons of hipster baby kittehs. Like always, I turned to Yelp for a guidance on finding the right vet. Tigard Animal Hospital is not that far away from where we live. It's about 20 minutes bus ride from SW Barbur area. I made a Saturday appointment for Gizmo to get neutered. The receptionist told me that we need... read more
Tigard Animal Hospital is a great establishment. We first visited to get our cat spayed because their website was hosting a good deal. They treated our cat and us with respect and kindness. We have also recommend Tigard Animal Hospital to friends and relatives. We would definitely recommend and make Tigard Animal Hospital our main veterinary.
my boyfriend adopted a stray kitten and we needed to get her spayed. Tigard Hospital staff were very friendly and full of information. They offer a coupon for neuter/spaying (go to their web page) made the price very reasonable. I would recommend this hospital and i definitely will come back for Kitty's shots. (also discounted on certain Saturdays.)
