Trattoria is a wonderful restaurant. We have been going there since it opened, and it never disappoints. The staff, Jeffrey…think there are two Jeffreys now, are so nice and the waiters all smart and responsive and very very nice and helpful. The waiter we had last night, Alton, was great: patient, smart and so helpful. We bring everyone we know to Trattoria, particularly out-of-towners because it is such a wonderful midtown New York restaurant, pleasing for everyone.

We had a great table, our waiter John was excellent — pleasant, engaging, suggesting favorite plates and wines. We all agreed the food was superb and wine was nicely paired. The restaurant is artfully decorated, always a pleasure to return to a NY favorite.

From the minute we stepped in, the delicious aroma overwhelmed us in the best way. Our service was spot-on, attentive, conversational and very friendly yet professional. The food was incredible. The best meal I have had in a long time. Thank you for a very enjoyable evening!
