Pizza's are great, very thin crusts. Bruschetta is also great

Number one — we had the best server in NYC — Joseph! We were visiting for a week with our 12 year old grandson, and had dinner the first night at Trattoria Dell’Arte. Joseph was our sever and made our grandson (and us!) feel right at home. The food was outstanding, and the other restaurant staff members were friendly and professional. Popular and very energetic place, catering to the pre-theatre crowds at surrounding venues. Crush of pre-theatre crowds puts pressure on staff, but they cope well. Felt rushed at first, but things settled down. Cocktails were very good; wine from per-glass list was credible if not exceptional' pasta arrived quickly and was tasty but not al dente--likely (and understandably) assembled from large pots or together with other orders. In brief: I'll return, but not during the pre-theatre crush.

I have eaten at the restaurant several times, and it was usually delicious food and great staff. This time, however, was disappointing. We ordered the 3 antipasto appetizer. We were a party of 7 and it was very sparse. The pizza was good. We ordered the Branzino which had very little taste. The brick chicken was good, but not adequate for everyone to share. Midtown restaurants are usually generic and boring. What a happy surprise my lunch was at this restaurant. The most delicious food and excellent service (Victor was 100% on point). Can’t wait to come back again!
