I am an Italian American who grew up in upstate NY and has frequently visited NYC over the last 20 years. I have dined at many Italian restaurants all across the country. There was absolutely nothing bad about this experience, and the restaurant even excelled in some areas (i.e., service and atmosphere). For me, a 3 = "meets expectations."
