Things seem to have really turned around at University Veterinary Hospital and I am compelled to update my previous two-star review. Prompt responses, helpful information, and warm & caring treatment for our new puppy, and helping us get follow-up care for another one of our dogs who had spinal surgery at a local vet ER. I'm so glad that we can rest easy and stick with these guys.

A little on the spendy side but they have always taken care of my fur babies. I've taken my dog here for 9 years and now 2 rescue kittens I foster failed. None of my animals are afraid of the vet. That says something for sure!

This place is on top of it all. Friendly staff- reasonable pricing and comparative to other vet hospitals in the area. They take the time to check in on our pup after every procedure/ visit.

We've been using this clinic for about 15 years. There are things we've greatly appreciated- like the incredible care they took of our dog who developed a rare infection that another local clinic could not diagnose or treat (full recovery against all odds). Other things don't settle quite right. For example, their website is obtuse about who actually owns the clinic. Who is in charge? Why do vets keep leaving? Great first visit to University Veterinary Hospital yesterday! Just yearly check up and shots for my chihuahua. It was easy to book appointment online and switch over from our former clinic. Staff is friendly and attentive. Even though they are located in the busy 9th and 9th area, they do have their own parking lot, which was very nice! I'll be switching my two cats over to UVH as well!! Thank you!!

I've been using UVHDC for years, they took incredible care of my Golden Retriever throughout his life and helped us through many health scares. Once the ownership changed in 2019 things really changed, and not for the better in my case. Although there are some wonderful techs and vets, the experience I get with my pup is not the same as it has been over the years. The only place in town that was able to see my dog without an unreasonably long wait during an emergency. We've been going to them ever since and are really happy with the service and care. Dr. Bybee is attentive, always follows up personally and addresses all of our questions and concerns.

I've left a review in the past and my most recent visit warrants another. I love Dr. Bybee. He has always been kind and gentle with my cats and I appreciate the care he takes to make the vet visit less scary for them. I am very fortunate to have found University Veterinary Hospital Diagnostic Center. I recently adopted a PitBull Terrier mix from a shelter.
