Thanks so much for the great care you provided Pinky when he had his teeth cleaned. Thanks also for providing good answers to my many questions. I really like the complete and factual information given that allows me to make informed decisions about my cats' care!
The staff here is always very nice and they are very caring with my dogs. They are higher priced than other vets in the area though. I would have given them 2-3 stars if it were based on bang for your buck but it's important to me that my dogs are treated well so I gave them 4. I will probably not be going back because of the cost. I can get just as great of service at another vet.
Dr. Hughes, Dr. Bybee, and all the staff here are fantastic. I've taken my cat here 3 times and we both felt well taken care of. All the costs are reasonable and the staff are upfront about everything. I am in healthcare and know that it's not easy to make sick people (or animals!) happy but they are caring, honest and smart here. It's easy to park and the clinic is clean and bright. I highly recommend this vet hospital!
There's nothing to dislike. Your reception staff is wonderful - always pleasant & fast with my check-in's. The tech - Connor - that recently helped me is professional, patient with questions, and great handling my dogs. Dr. McIlvenna is awesome. Warm & professional with my pets and always makes time for all of my questions. I'm never rushed and she always has excellent advice for any issues I'm having, trying to manage 3 dogs. Thanks!

I took my dogs to UVH for 6/7 years. Just a great facility and people from the staff to the DVM's. My complaint is that they turn over DVM's frequently. I never felt I could develop a relationship with one DVM. Again though, the care is great, but there are nuances with each pet. If brand new facilities aren't a concern I'd recommend Town and Country Vet Hospital and Dr. Petersen. My two pups and thirteen year old shep are patients there. He's a one man show. Hi Patrick, Thanks for your thoughts about UVHDC and for your patronage! When a veterinary hospital has 6-7 doctors it is not unusual for there to be some movement due to life events. Currently, our average doctor tenure is 5 1/2 years! I think the two doctors you saw were Dr. Walton and Dr Zelnik. They have been with us 7+ years, and 2 years, respectively.
I was very impressed with the knowledge and compassion on my first visit. I called 30 minutes before closing(I was one of those people!) concerned about my cat. They were able to see me right away, and were extremely welcoming, never making me feel like a bother for coming in so late. Been going to UVHDC for the last 5 years. Took our two dogs to this place last week for various tests, shots, and checkups. Couldn't be happier with UVHDC! The staff is very personable and friendly. Dr. Zelnik especially took the time to talk to us and explained everything we needed to know.
I took my dog here yesterday to talk about vaccinations and heartworm prevention, since we recently relocated to the area. EVERYONE here was so friendly, and while the vet informed us of available bloodwork and vaccinations, she never pushed anything on us. My dog *loved* Dr. McCarron! I took a chance coming here because of other positive yelp reviews, and I'm so glad I did. I love that the front desk staff always greet us and give Lucy treeats. I love that the techs get right down and personal with my Lucy. I love that they listen to me and pay attention to me bumbling my way through explaining symptoms. I love that the vets don't hesitate to consult with each other to ensure that they have another set of eyes looking at test reults.
