My dog had TPLO surgery here and everyone was great. The process was really easy and I got a follow-up call the next day which was really nice. Great instructions too on how to proceed for the next few weeks.

Everything is a breeze. Appointment scheduling is quick. They got me in quickly the first time and every appt afterward has been at the best possible time of day for me. Everyone takes special notice of my kitty and makes him feel comfortable and loved. Dr. Bybee makes a special effort to love on my kitty and check up on him between visits. I am super impressed and relieved to find such a close (in proximity), kind, caring, affordable and professional team of people to help me look after my new kitty.

Out of desperation, I took a friend's advice and went to UVHDC after 2 other places misdiagnosed my very sick lab. I was previously told that my dog had simply injured himself even though I said that he hadn't. Dr. Shawn Bybee, at UVHDC, was very caring during the examination. He came up with the correct diagnosis and explained the seriousness of the condition in a way that I could understand. My husband and I just moved to SLC a few months ago, so when we got a puppy, we had to rely on reviews on Yelp to find a veterinarian to provide our puppy's care. We read lots of positive reviews about UVH, and we have been very pleased to find that we could not agree more about the great care and experience that UVH has provided for our puppy. Moved to town a few months ago, so it was time to get a new vet. Originally just went in for a yearly check up and Bordatella vaccination and figured we wouldn't be back for a while. Several weeks after, my cattledog told me something was wrong when I came from work (then I found the puddles of puke), so I'm really glad we had already gotten set up with vets we could trust. I brought my puppy in for some X-rays after she ate a steel wool sponge. I was very happy to walk in and have it not smell like you would think a veterinarian office would smell. Nice, clean facility, friendly staff. They even called a few days later to make sure my sweet puppy was doing ok. I would recommend this facility to a friend.

So I need to drop this place a couple stars because of my last experience. I had a sick cat who I took into them twice, the first time was expensive but I knew what the risks were and what the cost estimate for treatment was going to be - so I was ok with it.
