Typical deli with great food. Wait staff was very nice and accommodating. The pastrami was juicy and tender and well- trimmed so no fat or grizzle. Size was just right for lunch and they have extras to add if you want more. Good coffee too! When I go back to NYC will def revisit - maybe for breakfast next time.
Wanted to try a NYC pastrami and no delis were open whereas here was. So took the plunge and went for one. Pastrami was very nice although not sure how authentic it was.
brooklyn delicatessen is underrated spot where the true essence of deli food shines. This fast casual spot offer breakfast, lunch and dinner. The lunch menu feature variety of sandwiches, chicken soup, salad and Also pizzas 🍕. One of my favorite here is the hot pastrami sandwiches, it’s just so tender, juicy and tasty. Don’t forget to grab a dessert, fruit or coffee pair with the sandwiches. Definitely make sure to check out this spot!! The decor is nice and friendly staff.
This place is your typical deli, and a nice quick stop if you’re headed into Times Square or Central Park. I was incredibly hungry when I decided to pop in and grab a pizza, so my judgements here may have been influenced by that. The pizza wasn’t horrible, but it really just wasn’t very good. Never thought I would leave a NYC deli hungry. $14 Reuben turned out to be a slider, not a sandwich.
