The pastrami here was surprisingly good. I was not expecting much because their were lots of tourists. Surprisingly, the pastrami was amazing. The eggs were cooked perfectly. The service was slow but everything tastes pretty good.
Great service but the food and coffee is bad I ordered the pastrami cheddar for breakfast as I was told it was good. It did not look like the photo and it felt like eating pastrami scraps . I ordered a large coffee ... it was sooo watery . Sry but I do not recommend this place at all.
Hot pastrami sandwich place!! So so tasty, tender and fresh! There are so many options to choose from, it's almost impossible to make a choice, except for the fact there is pastrami available and if you're a hot pastrami fan as I am you'll jump on the chance to have one when available on the menu (as it's not always a given, just like mortadella) as they are hard to come by mostly :) the pizzas are in squared shape and there are pepperoni, veggie and a variety of options available. They even serve mimosas!!!! There are cute ... read more
I wasn't a fan. The employees were really nice but the food and coffee were not. I ordered an iced latte and they even asked what type of milk I want and I still got dairy when I asked for oat. Would have asked them to remake but I realized once it was too late. They are also serving eggslut copycat items but they just don't taste as good. I got the egg and cheese which is their version of the Fairfax sandwich and it was soooo dry and then bun was not even toasted or warm. There's better food in the area I would avoid.
Do not go here. Ordered a bacon egg and cheese on a plain bagel - the bacon, egg, and cheese were not cooked (even though it took over 25 minutes). The cheese was literally a cold square, the bacon was basically raw and the whites of the egg were runny. The bagel had a hair on it. Should have read the reviews before I came.
That SUCKED!! Asked for a pastrami and corned beef combo. Waiter said he doubted they would do that. They did, but terrible!!! Smallest sandwich ever!!! 1/3 lumped fat!!! And chunks of meat not sliced!!
No Star! Absolutely the worst! Corned Beef Sandwich?! You guys really need to hang it up! Sandwich is tiny 90% fat and tough!
It's a good sandwich but taking a star away because the sandwich is not that big and I was still hungry after $13. Also they serve all day breakfast but they wouldn't add an egg to my pastrami sandwich. *Shrugs*.
This place is kind of a bust. If you've come all the way to NY to get the true delicatessen experience, you won't get it here. The sandwiches are paltry by most standards. The corned beef was dry. I heard someone exclaim that the pastrami was good. The rolls were good. The pickles were kind of weird (juniper?). I mean it's probably ok in a pinch, but I wouldn't put it on the top ten of your list by any stretch.
