We had a Hot Corn beef sandwich and it was great. Very clean and nice. Definitely worth it.
Horrible. There are other places to visit. Save your money and avoid this place. Ice cold pastrami on a Reuben. Stale bread. Not even a side of fries and it cost $27!? For some cold fatty pieces of meat. Hostess didn't say one word- not a hi or welcome. Server didn't check to see if food came out ok. Busser took away food that had 2 bites taken out of it and didn't bother to ask if everything was ok. Management was informed and they decided to continue to charge me $35 bill for a crap sandwich and Diet Coke- neither of which... read more

Regina, I think it's important to note that based on the price and pictures provided, you did not eat at our restaurant but instead the Brooklyn Diner (our sister restaurant around the corner). While we value all feedback, we kindly ask that it be shared respectfully. Comments like "you suck" do not foster constructive dialogue, which we always welcome. I came into this place earlier for breakfast. The service is good and the atmosphere is nice. Unfortunately, the food that I've ordered wasn't that good. I ordered the Waffle, eggs and bacon, because I'm a sucker for waffles. Unfortunately, the waffles were bland and they tasted as if they're store bought or something. The eggs looked off and they look almost plastic toys. They didn't tasted terrible, but they weren't that enjoyable. The bacon were alright though.
Business response:
Hector, Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts. I’m glad to hear you enjoyed the service and atmosphere, but I’m sorry the food didn’t meet your expectations. Your feedback about the waffles, eggs, and bacon is concerning, as we strive to provide fresh and flavorful meals. I’ll be sure to share your comments with our kitchen team to ensure we improve. We’d love the chance to make it up to you. Please feel free to reach out to me at 212-400-6048, and we hope you’ll give us another try in the future. Stephanie... read more
Go for the drag show ! Imagine my surprise when we stopped for a bite (pastrami and knish were great) and I was asked if we were there for the drag show. Well I sure as heck am now! We didn't do the brunch as we didn't feel like drinking but we got our two item minimum and enjoyed the show from the sidelines. Three amazing queens and one was from RDPR. Go and support these awesome queens and enjoy some solid grub. Don't forget your tip money!
I feel that my burger was premade because the patties edge were a bit hard and luke warm. I stopped by after work to grab a bite before going into the subway. The service was great but unfortunately this did happen. I didn't go back because it only takes one time for me.
The pizza is amazing! They have choices for affordable options considering it's in midtown.
Out of this world pastrami sandwich and chicken soup. Got them "to-go" while being a tourist in the neighborhood; I was blown away by these 2 items back in my hotel room when consuming them an hour or so later. Very impressive, and I'm picky about my pastrami. I'll be back.
Went here a couple of nights ago, they had an amazing entertainment service. The food was so affordable and good. The waitress seem to be working by herself, but was very attentive. Recommend for anyone visiting out of town or even local New Yorkers. I saw someone that they're trying to gatekeep this place. And I would too, but they deserve better reviews. I highly recommended. If you're notorious, the ambience is fantastic.
