I had a really disappointing experience with uShip. I only received a few offers, and all of them came back asking for more money after I accepted. One carrier even turned out to be unauthorized for interstate shipping. I had to cancel my request, and it took several days to get $800 refunded. Overall, the process was stressful, felt greedy on the carriers’ end, and completely unreliable. I won’t be using uShip again.
There's been a lot of errors lately. Uship gives the customers extremely low "average range" quotes. I'm talking $300-400 on a $1000-$1200 shipment. They have huge fees on both sides of the transaction for not offering much. They need a way to cut out listings that people abandon or aren't serious about.
there is no formula to figure out what uship charges for doing literally nothing. For a $750 delivery their charging $77... but for a $700 delivery it's $151 uship fee. how are they coming up with this and it would be nice if the people doing the work could keep most of their money or atleast make it a percentage of the delivery, not just a random amount, based on how much money uship needs that day.
not good customer service should have people there to pick up the phone if they r going to have people use there account and they dont know how to use there own app or how to fix the app not a good place to get jobs from.
