This was one of the worst experiences ever. My dog had an appointment at 12 and I got there about 11:47 and was waiting patiently and then I get there and check and and this blonde lady who's a little Bit heavier said my appointment was at 11:30? Um no I made it for 12 for a reason If things changed they should've called a let me know, so I wasted my time going to a place where I heard good reviews about everyone but apparently they have shitty service and I will not be going back. Disappoint of a vet clinic

Staff was very friendly I liked the vet she was very nice and seemed to know what she was talking about but that's where the good part of the visit ended. I was "prescribed" ear drops and ear cleaner for my dog which she made seem was necessary in her treatment along with given a very expensive shot to help her itching which they say can last 2-8 weeks? I'm ok with the shot she's our baby we can't to help her any way we can but when I get home and look online and find the "prescribed" eat stuff for half the cost of which the... read more

If I could this would be a 0 star. $170 bucks for a "fill in" Vet. Whom ONLY was interested in sales, probiotics & food. Since when is Science Diet Not a healthy food. Staff not really that great. All seemed to be having a bad day. I felt I was robbed as I walked out. So today I took the same cat to PAWSH. Boy Vacaville Animal Hospital you should be embarrassed of yourselves!!! I won't say more. I'll save it for the 5 star review I give PAWSH.

I have deleted my favorable comment on Vacaville Animal Care Center due to the office staff and their poor communication with their clients. We had been clients for over 35 years but the business has changed so much since Dr Barnes retired we felt it necessary to pull our 3 dogs from their care.

This place gave me a quote over the phone then doubled it, for the EXACT same treatment, when I was actually in their office. I told them what I'd already been quoted, just 1 day prior. The receptionist brought the Dr. out ( that's Dr. Amber Behnke ) and with zero compassion or even an apology, the Dr. said they had to stick to their prices (which of course was the greater of the two). I'm not usually one to go and bash a business or leave a negative review, but I'm VERY DISAPPOINTED in the way the staff at Animal Care Center in Vacaville handled a situation today. I had called yesterday to get a quote on euthanizing my pet rabbit. I was quoted $75.00 to have a group cremation and $65.00 if I wanted to take her home and bury her. If you're income is limited for whatever reason, I don't recommend Dr. Lee. She is only willing to help if you're willing to agree to 100% of her full care recommendedation. I offered to sign a waiver of liability to do less than full reccommendation & she told me that wouldn't be good enough. I was given a quote for $1200, not including the cost to transfer to Solano Pet Emergency that night. I went to U.C. Davis, who took care of my kitty for $360 & over night stay at $40/ 6 hours. I've waited to write this review until I calmed down a bit. I will say that in the past we have taken our cats here without issue and the vet made an attempt to follow up once I called and laid into her about the current situation, hence the two stars. However, at the end of September we took our young (1.5 year old) cat in due to a variety of symptoms and our suspicion that she had a bowel obstruction. When I called to try and get an appointment for our dog because she was lethargic, not eating well and vomiting of and on, I was told unless she was bleeding or barely breathing they could give me an appointment, but would see her in a couple of days!!!!! I called another clinic that saw her within 2 hours. We had to end up putting her down a week later. I will not return, not because of the end results, but because of not caring or taking the time to see her when she was so ill.
