Dear Vacaville Animal Care. I received my email to you as "deleted and unopened". Your website contact form limits me to only 100 characters. So ... I turn to Yelp. Wow, moved here 2 years ago and established care with this vet for my little dog. When she severely cut her dewclaw and was bleeding a lot, I was so worried. Called this vet and was told in a not so nice manner, cannot help you try someone else. Called my old vet, Alpine in concord and as usual, they were able to see her within an hour. Love them. I understand vets get busy, but if a true emergency comes up what do you do? Called 6 other vets in Vacaville area and no one would see us? Very disappointed!

Over and over I get emails and postcards telling me my cat is past due for his checkup, but try calling and getting an appointment, and every time we're told they have no appointments and are not booking out. Also no waitlist. Years back when Dr. Orr was there we got great care, and we've had good experience with a couple of the other vets since. But we're no longer using their office because, well, we can't. I wonder if the vets know their front desk staff tells long-time customers to take their pets elsewhere.

Recently moved to Vacaville and was looking for a local vet for my dogs and cat. Called and inquired about the cost of a neuter and shots for a kitten. Was told a price of around 450 with all needed tests and exam. Price seemed fair as I had called a few places and all were within 50 dollars. They had availability sooner so I made the appt for the neuter and shots. Came to the appt first to find out they were not doing the neuter today. Ok, maybe I misunderstood and was ok with that. I was looking to switch my dogs to be patients at this clinic but it's a DEFINITE NO after my phone call with their receptionist. She was nothing but rude and in a hurry to get off the phone. She blamed me for being full and having no appointments. Their rude receptionist has nothing but attitude and zero compassion for our pets. It shows the DVMs are most likely the same if they hired such rude staff!

Honestly the vets are rude and hardly help us, more on that at the bottem. now with covid19 we cant even see anyone in person, i understand that part, but i arrived for my appointment about 5 min early and they got upset about that, they then got upset after we called to tell them that we were here for are appointment. They ignored three calls after putting us of hold for fifteen minutes stright. Keep in mind that calling them is the only way to tell them that you've arrivednow, no more walk in. Very disappointed. Was not told the amount of xrays until after. Over $300 and paws plan covers none of it. Then I received a quote for minor surgery for my dog honey in the amount of $1393.79. I was shocked it was more than getting her fixed and a lump removed from her belly. So I went for a second opinion with Family Pet Hospital on Elmira. Dr. Singh ( my daughters vet) was so nice and offered a better treatment. He also seemed more knowledgable about jer issue then Vacaville Animal Care. I requested a refund for my pre... read more

Dr Lee is awesome... Unfortunately their service has Declined so much that I am leaving their hospital! I called this morning to have our Loyal Lab put down... heartbroken I was told by their receptionist that they are all booked up today, maybe have to schedule it for Another day. Their receptionist had NO clue what they are doing! Lately trying to get an appointment with them is 3 weeks out... Good bye Animal Care Center...

I wasn't offered any help when it came to my bunny who was in need. My bunny could've past away in the hands of the vet here, but thanks to the lady at the front desk (blonde hair) my poor bunny wasn't tended as needed. Rip bun bun.
