I realize you requested that I enter a review on Facebook or on Google, however I do not feel it would be in your best interest. I had phone your hospital a couple times before being assured that my dog would be helped if I brought her in. After her being in labor for almost 20 hours without having a pup we came to your hospital. We were seen as soon as we signed in. We were told that our dog most likely needed a C Section but they would try to induce her before doing surgery . After being induced 7 times and having images w... read more

Business response:

We are sorry to hear that you were not satisfied with your experience, Becky. We certainly hold ourselves to a very high standard with our care, but there can occasionally be extenuating circumstances beyond our control. Little Annie Oakley was not "induced" 7 times, however she was given 3 separate injections of Oxytocin to help progress her labor which did not work as we hoped. We had several very critical patients in our hospital which took the attention of our most skilled technicians and thought that it was in Little An... read more

I left work tonight to rush my doggie in, was there for 5 hours and all they did was take blood and put an IV but no fluids in it. ARE U KIDDING ME? They took a urine sample >> off the floor smfh. I went in on an emergency basis and they did not attend to her at all. 5 hours later I left but not before paying $278 for the blood work and a consultation which was a 6 minute convos with the dr when she finally came in 4 hours later, Oh and they charged me $120 for that!!! The receptionist (Meghan) had a terrible terrible attitu... read more

We had an absolutely terrible experience. We brought our dog in for an emergency scan of her abdomen based on some worrisome bloodwork at our vet. After almost 4 hours waiting we met with the vet who would do the scan. When we returned 45 minutes later, she told us the scan was concerning and based on the bloodwork she was sure our dog had fast moving cancer and 1-2 weeks left to live. Needless to say, we were devastated. However, each day after our dog was hungry, playful, and energetic. 10 days after the scan I called... read more

VESH could improve by making pet parents aware that they must be seen by the vet once per year or they will be DENIED their medication refills. I don't think most of us spend our time reading the VESH web site for such specific protocols. I had the misfortune this week of having my Daisy's RX denied to me. DR Benson is on vaca and I have to wait until he returns and he is booked up so the app't would be some time in September. No meds for DAisy for the duration. I asked if another vet at VESH, one who I knwo we... read more

Business response:

We are saddened that you feel that you can no longer trust us as a care team for Daisy. The State of Massachusetts as well as the Federal Government require that there be a current doctor-patient relationship (physical examination) in order to prescribe medications. Not only is this a law but it is also practicing good medicine by ensuring the safety of the patient and to help the doctor develop an appropriate medical plan based on accurate and current exam findings. Prescribing medications carries a great amount of responsi... read more

The waiting is hard enough but then they take people that come in after you. When you finally get in a room you sit in there after vitals are taken and riot waiting some more. I’ve been here over two hours and have yet to be seen by a vet

Business response:

We are very sorry that you have not been happy with your experience this evening, Eileen. We unfortunately operate just like a human hospital so the more critical emergencies need to move to the head of the line. We have had quite a number of critical patients this evening and we are trying to get everyone seen as quickly as possible. We know that your boy Monkey is important to you and when your pet is not feeling well the waiting is the hardest part. We promise we will give Monkey the attention that he needs as soon as we ... read more

personally look at Google reviews. staff is nice but they don't have a heart into this vet just money. as an emergency of course the bill will be high.. but I spent a few grand here within 3 days.. took my cat back found a different vet that had my cat for 6 days and gave me 100% different outlook on things going on while this place was all about money.. my bill was $700 at my other vet.. I will never go here again and I've heard many many of my friends/co workers say the same.. like who gets transferred on the phone to ano... read more

Brought a cat there that is having issues with a pregnancy. And they are pretty much sending it home to die. And suffer.

Beware. If you need emergency vet care for your loved one, look elsewhere. VESH grossly mishandled my dog's healthcare and neglected to treat him while in a critical state, and he is now deceased. My dog was kept waiting for 2.5 hours this morning just to have his vitals taken because they didn't consider his case to be an emergency, based on absolutely nothing other than 30 seconds of asking basic medical history questions in the lobby. At 2:30 am, after 2.5 hours of waiting and multiple pleas to check him out and get him o... read more
