We came home from a week long vacation and had family members check in on our two cats while we were gone. Upon arriving home, I saw that the oldest cat couldn't close his mouth all the way, he was drooling and meowing quite a bit more than usual. I brought him to VESH on that Saturday afternoon. They took him in promptly while I waited and they gave him some pain meds to calm him down. I was sent home after 3+ hours of waiting and was told they would need to keep him overnight while they did some tests. Later that evening, ... read more

I don’t understand the one star ratings on here, they are veterinarians not god. They did all they could to save our poor little Charlotte last year. This year they save our cat Max, this place is very professional and caring.

Business response:

Thank you for your kind words, Wayne, we appreciate your support.

We brought our two dogs in after being quilled by a porcupine. They attended to both dogs and removed quills (one with surgery) that evening. Two weeks later, one dog had a swollen eye. Taken to Tufts where a CT and surgery was done to remove quill in eyelid and one embedded in neck muscle. The dog recovered well. The second dog developed an eye infection and swelling two weeks after the first. Again taken to Tufts where a CT can revealed a quill in the eye. The eye had to be removed. Very sad. The subpar exami... read more

Hard to find, called twice for directions. . . receptionist didn't know her North from her South. . . . Understood the wait in the waiting room. . . but to have to wait almost as long in a stinky waiting room was over the top wrong. . . Had to open the door to keep from getting sick. . . watched the person that came in after us get seen before us. . . that is just not right! I will hope and pray I NEVER have to return. . . Expensive too.

Randy Hudson Today at 9:53pm We took our Great Dane here in 2013 as he bloated and his stomach twisted. The staff said they could save him and the cost was $6800. We picked him up three days later with an infection, they gave us antibiotics. Two days later we brought him back as he was getting worse, so we paid them another $1100. and they gave us stronger antibiotics (they should have given the first time) and sent us home. Riddick ended up dying four days later as the infection was just too much for him. These people shoul... read more

My pet had a deopstipation procedure done at the hospital. She was returned to me filthy, her backside covered in liquid poop, her front covered in dried up medicine they had given her. I was told she “may still leak a little” when I came to pick her up. When I didn’t see any discharge on the way home (about 40 minutes), I released her without any precautions. A few minutes later she released liquid poop all over my living room floor before I caught up with her. All of this could have been avoided if I had been given any wa... read more
