Vida was highly recommended and after our first visit last Saturday, it is highly commended. We enjoyed the Chef's Tasting menu with the wine pairings under the guidance of the most-wonderful Ms. Etta and the esteemed Mr. Kirschenman. Seriously, people, Vida is as good as it gets, very adult, uniquely contemporary in many ways yet subtly conservative in others. If fine dining is to appeal to all the senses, Vida does it very, very well.
Super duper meal with friends!Great wine list. Wonderful chicken entree. Root salad was good. Yummy ricotta doughnuts. The servers were lovely. A beautiful place.
Our second trip to Vida (and I mean trip-we live north of Lebanon), was another excellent dining experience. We ordered ala carte since our appetites can't support the 4 or 6 course prix fixe options. We both had the swordfish which was accompanied by a parsnip puree with pork belly pieces also flavored by black garlic which is lately becoming more popular on creative chef's' menus locally and whih we both love, having been exposed to it in the S.F bay area several years ago. Dined here for the first time and I have to say the service was the best I’ve ever experienced in Indianapolis. Amanda was great and the food was exceptional. I highly recommend the halibut.
The service was amazing. Super friendly staff--we felt so welcome. The halibut was incredibly delicious, as were the smoked carrots. Really liked the option of 4-course vs. 6-course.
Delicious innovative food available as prix fixe 4 course or 6 course chef's tasting menu. Perfectly prepared and plated. Service was great.
Small portions and Refined food. Excellent presentation and great service. I will be back
