Get directionsMy boy Solo hurt his leg. We had to wait for the doc to see him, but weekends are busy and I understand that. The staff were kind kept in touch as the time went by. Zach and Dr. Perdew were so kind and empathetic to our boy and his pain. Gave him great care, with great results. When visiting my daughter I would definitely use this service again. Thank you for your compassion and caring staff. Martha
Took our 1-1/2 year old well mannered intact male standard poodle Sunday when he started puking in the morning, there’s a missing pair of gold earrings, I was concerned. They got us in and took him back for vitals and x-rays. He’s a country boy and is used to me being within sight, so they were cautious and wanted to use a muzzle. Instead of stressing him more they brought the muzzle to me and I worked with him a few times on/off/walk with the muzzle. When they determined earrings were not in his stomach or gut, I decided to... read more
It’s never a fun time having to take your pet to the ER. But the staff here are fantastic and so nice. They were quick to triage my girl, and get started on her treatment and diagnosis. They updated me with the estimated $$, and gave me the options available to treat my girl. They allowed me a choice on the route I wanted to take, and didn’t pressure me into anything I didn’t want to do.
While I definitely didn’t expect to spend New Year's Day dealing with an emergency, my Chihuahua needed immediate attention. From the moment I called ahead, the staff treated me with kindness and respect. When we arrived, they were expecting us and gave a very clear estimate of when we'd be seen. Dr. Alyssa Biscoglio was incredibly warm and efficient, quickly helping my girl feel better. The technicians at both the front desk and in the back were friendly and understanding throughout the whole process. We’re now home with an... read more
We were referred to Wake Veterinary Medical Center by our Veterinarian because my cat's symptoms were possibly life threatening and my vet wanted him seen ASAP. He received very good care from a doctor and was sent home with needed meds. The facility was great and the staff very professional.
We had an emergency and needed immediate care for our dog Charlie. When we called, they were very attentive and concerned and wanted us to be safe in coming out to their facility. Upon arrival they met us at the door and immediately took action in the most caring way possible to care for Charlie while also showing care and concern for me. All the personnel there were extremely professional and showed us the utmost compassion. Without a doubt, I would highly recommend Wake Veterinary Medical Center for any of your pets needs... read more
My husband and I recently took in our Pom Onyx for an emergency visit. The staff was able to see us and assess Onyx right away and provided transparency regarding cost and what to be expected. We appreciated the kindness and options that were available and our boy is doing soo much better. Thank you to the staff and doctors for being kind and patient.
We were traveling back from OBX when our Yorkie started having what we thought may be a seizure or stroke. We contacted the closet vet who referred us to Wake. They got all our info over the phone and were waiting for us when we got there. The veterinarian we saw was very compassionate and thorough! Thank God our girl ended up being okay and we were able to continue our journey back home!
The service we received was more than we could possibly expect. Our dog needed to be euthanized and their care made the experience very comforting.
