RecommendedWe had an emergency and needed immediate care for our dog Charlie. When we called, they were very attentive and concerned and wanted us to be safe in coming out to their facility. Upon arrival they met us at the door and immediately took action in the most caring way possible to care for Charlie while also showing care and concern for me. RecommendedMy husband and I recently took in our Pom Onyx for an emergency visit. The staff was able to see us and assess Onyx right away and provided transparency regarding cost and what to be expected. We appreciated the kindness and options that were available and our boy is doing soo much better. Thank you to the staff and doctors for being kind and patient.
RecommendedWe were traveling back from OBX when our Yorkie started having what we thought may be a seizure or stroke. We contacted the closet vet who referred us to Wake. They got all our info over the phone and were waiting for us when we got there. The veterinarian we saw was very compassionate and thorough! Thank God our girl ended up being okay and we were able to continue our journey back home!

RecommendedWe have been several times with Wakevet. We breed Basset Hounds and we always check our litters with them. Their service is great. We had also used their emergency care for a pair of our dogs . One of them decided that it was a good idea to jump with a pencil in his mouth. The other was hit by a neighbor's car when he went out of our fenced patio. In both cases they have been very compassionate and professional . We are excited that they now offer primary care. I was nervous but looking to establish a new clinic. I'm so happy I switched. RecommendedI took my 17 year old Husky mix in last night to put him to sleep. It was after hours. What an amazing team of folks. The two girls who helped get him inside on the stretcher and get everything setup were absolutely amazing. The doctor was wonderful, sweet and very comforting during the process. They have an outdoor patio area where we were able to take care of everything. Highly Rex this place. They deserve more than 5 stars. RecommendedWe visited Wake Vet Hospital late one night when our senior dog unexpectedly took a turn for the worse, and we knew it was time to let her go. All of the staff was so kind, and Dr Hartman thoroughly explained everything so we knew what to expect through the process. We were not rushed at all, and they took things at our pace. The cremation service that they partner with was wonderful as well, and the remembrance items are perfect.
