These people are slower than molasses here. Appointment was at 4pm. Vet didn't come in until 4:58pm. What's the point of an appointment if they're going to come in an hour later?? They can't find out what is wrong with my dog (1yr old) or what fungus she has. Just completely annoyed we have to go back every 2 weeks and deal with the same waiting problem and keep paying because they can't find out what's wrong.
My dog, a patient at West Hills Animal Hospital for over a year, injured her foot in an accident. For her follow up visit, they charged me twice what the emergency veterinarian had charged for her initial visit. I was shocked. The bandage they applied, which I paid an additional $45 for, was unraveling and falling off by the time I got my dog home. Taking my dog here was like taking my car to the dealership for service. They took my dog to the back room, (for service) after he was attacked by another dog. A service advisor, 'front desk clerk" walks into the holding room with an itemized list of services they need to perform on my dog, totaling $1000.00. I was required to sign and agree to this estimate before they even checked under the hood or kicked my tires, This estimate included hospitalation, 3 x-rays, (my dog weighs 4 lbs).
