Took my dog there as he had what looked like a sore or trauma on his nose- did not seem that bad. Vet comes out tell me it's does not look good, possible cancer or lupus. Says because it's on the nose they can't remove and will need chemo. Than says he needs to biopsy and has room later that afternoon to put him under anesthesia and take biopsy.Than says his teeth are dirty and can clean while they do biopsy. says it's about$1900.00 i'm freaking out- take him to another vet and they say it's none of that, clean it, put neosp... read more

Hi Greg, Everyone at West Hills Animal Hospital is so glad that Oakley is doing better. And we all know just how stressful it can be when your beloved pet is't feeling well. Unfortunately, without running some diagnostic testing on the mass on Oakley's nose, there is just no way to know exactly what it may be. When we send a cell aspirate out to our laboratory, their specialists carefully study the cells under the microscope and then send our doctor a report of their interpretation of the cells and what the best course of ac... read more
What a shame. Let me begin by offering their cookie-cutter reply that they will copy and paste out to me from my complaint, "[insert client name] we understand that veterinary care can be costly, which is why we always try to accommodate our clients to the best of our ability. We offer a variety of treatment options so that you may select a less costly alternative, if possible, so please don't hesitate to voice your concerns to your veterinarian during your next visit. We aim to provide you with the information and education... read more
Worst experience I have ever had at a vet office. Front office employees rude and disrespectful!!!!! Hope that your pet does not get sick. They will make you do a plethora of unwarranted tests before they finally give you a diagnosis. I rarely write reviews but the rudeness of both their office manager, Rochelle and receptionist, Lauren was offensive, abrasive, aggressive and obnoxious, I really want to warn others not to go here. I had just brought my dog in the week before. The meds prescribed were not working. The front d... read more

I went for a routine vaccine and was quoted over $500 for various tests and problems and did not get the vaccine. I declined some of them but I should have walked away. They seem professional but they are way overpriced.
Business response:
Hi Max, we are sorry to hear you were not satisfied with your pet's visit. We aim to provide the highest quality of care to your furry friend and are saddened that you felt otherwise. Someone from our team will be contacting you shortly.
I would never recommend going there. My friend has been bringing his pet there and his pet is nothing but skin and bones and the vet thinks the animal is normal looking. I am trained in the veterinary field and these people are nowhere near trained to to think an animal is healthy looking when their coat is dull, they are very thin, and they keep vomiting. It doesn't take a scientist to know there's something wrong with an animal.

Ear infection (just ear infection) cost me $401.40!!!! Really!?!?!? A friend of mine recommended this place. I went because it was an emergency and our vet could't take us in. They suggest you all the tests and on top they tell you that your dog is "Dental stage 2"! What?!?!?! Guess what (this is the best part) they charge you between $ 900 to $2,000 for the cleaning!!! Can not believe it. It is a fraud. Note: I have a very healthy dog in general. 5 years old.
Business response:
We value your feedback, Jennifer. The animals we serve are our number one priority, and we can assure you that your dog will always be treated with the highest quality of care and by a knowledgeable doctor. We are more than happy to discuss your price concern and if applicable, chat with you about alternative options.
I don't recommend this animal hospital. They over charge for everything. Every time I need to take my dog here I walk out paying at least 200 dollars. They also charge 800 for a teeth cleaning because they claim that they have to put the dogs under to do so... and then they want to charge for medicine afterwards because my dog has collapsing trachea and the procedure will irritate her throat? There are many animal hospital all over the valley. I found one that only charges 150 for a teeth cleaning without using anesthesia. I... read more
WAY TOO EXPENSIVE. Anyway, I just felt that I was taken advantage of in the costs. They try to get you get every shot in the darn book. And its like, fine. "I'll get the minimums, and maybe that one because it looks important? But not the other three (or whatever)." With a rabies shot on an indoors cat and some nose saline drops,. And no diagnosis without it costing even more amounts.. somehow it all came out to be $150. I knew that the shot was going to come out to like,. $30 or something. And then the solution to mayb... read more
This place is ABSOLUTELY THE WORST!! Constant Up-Sells, tests for everything, buy their food..etc. Brought my dog is for skin irritation, and I was told my dog needed allergy meds for the res of his life. Also, I should change the food to what they sell. Went home and called out breeder. She advised of what diet we needed to change to (RAW) and within 4-6 weeks all signs of skin irruption GONE! So annoyed!! Now my other dog us having punny poops. I have asked them to set the sample, then based on what they find, I ca... read more
