If I could give this property management company negative stars I would do so! They are the worst landlords I have ever encountered in my 10 years of renting. I did not rent a property in IV but was treated as a college student nonetheless. I am not a student, I am a professional, responsbile adult with exemplary rental history and always prompt on rent. The front office employees of Wolfe and Associates act like they have no clue what they are doing. Nobody seems to want to help in accounting, they are just flat out rude. I can only imagine how they treat their employees. As far as a maintenance company ha ha what a joke. They want to charge you for everything. Whatever you do, DO NOT live in their properties... IV landlord doesn't even begin to describe it!! It's almost as if they get some kind of pleasure from being terrible people. They tried to give my roommates and I a "pay-or-quit" more than once because we "didn't pay our rent" until I called to let them know that it was illegal to kick us out when they have our rent money, and their response was "oh! yeah, i found it, haha, here it is..." This was among many many other issues...
BEWARE OF WOLFE!!!! As a tenant for just over a year now I am so fed up with this unprofessional management company that I want to scream. First off. The entire staff except for one( the Asian guy) are completely useless. My business seems to be SUCH an inconvenience to them. I took Wolfe and Associates to court and I won! I want to urge you all to do the same. I was very intimidated about being in front of a judge against a company, but I can truly say that the Santa Barbara court system is fair, just, and unbias. I was so impressed with the judges. I had the same issues as everyone ... Wolfe is just what you'd expect--or rather wouldn't expect--of an IV landlord: pretty shitty properties, relatively incompetent staff, and a huge bureaucratic process you have to navigate to accomplish anything. They like to overcharge for everything & sometimes it takes numerous calls to take care of minor issues. Needless to say, they are used to dealing with college students and the gardeners are very nice!

never again. they overcharge for rent and are infamous for stealing security deposits. they are absorbing a TON of Isla vista real estate because of the management/financial benefits. They have a legal stronghold over you once you are on contract, will screw you over, and steal your money. I've leased with Wolfe for the past 1.5 years and I've had a sub-par experience. The condition of both of the properties I've lived in were worrisome... everything just seems like it's falling apart. In order to get them to fix anything (disgusting 50 year old looking bathrooms, etc.) you have to literally pester them 24 hours a day. Ronald Wolfe is a dirty money stealing bastard. His empire is as close to a scam as you can legally get. Unfortunately this "legality" can essentially be attributed to the lessee's apathy. I personally don't have the time to file anything against him, but I know that it is very possible.
