This is the most un-professional, careless business that rents out slums for an arm and a leg. My apartment building has not been improved upon a single time in the 4 years since the start of our lease yet the rent has raised over $1000 despite being in terrible conditions. The property manager Tom Donnelly refuses to attend to maintenance issues in a timely manner unless I call him personally (after going through maintenance multiple times). Absolutely the worst. They take advantage of students. I leased with them for 2 years in the same unit and they dragged us through so much about our security deposit and then when we disputed it and threatened to get legal help they admitted they owed us back several hundred dollars. We made the mistake of releasing with them this last year (housing shortage in iv didn't give us much of an option) and went through the same shit + black mold, rude responses and overall disregard for our health and safety. Future renters- take pictures of the apartment when you move in and make prior stains, scuffs, etc known. Wolfe will not hesitate to rip you off. This is a cash grab and they will charge you for anything they can. Scummy.

Avoid Wolfe and Associates at all costs. They do not care about you and will do anything to take your money. Our apartment was in horrible condition upon move-in, including trash and broken glass throughout the house and mold in many of the kitchen cabinets (among many other things). We turned in the Inventory and Condition report outlining the issues a few days after move-in, and some repairs took over 6 months. You might be better off homeless than renting from Wolfe. Unprofessional. Irresponsible. Take your money somewhere else! Things don't get fixed, sometimes for years. New agey property supervisors that let tenants park wherever they want and leave their junk lying around outside their units blocking walkways making life a hell for disabled people. I had an absolutely horrifying experience with the property manager at Westwinds. We were having a professional, calm conversation in his office when he suddenly started screaming and became extremely angry and aggressive. I do not know if he has anger management issues, but it was absolutely terrifying. I called the police as soon as I got back to the safety of my room, and filed a police report (per instruction by his supervisor). Our property manager is a liar and he's very dishonest. Often times when we make complaints about this dilapidated property, we are threatened. It is suggested that if we don't wanna be evicted we better keep our mouth shut about not having heat
Worst Landlords in Isla Vista. Our toilet water has been running through the sink for about a week now. At first, it was hard to realize but now it is very obviously golden brown. These guys are so incompetent and only lease the most beat down unkept houses in Isla Vista. I hope they go broke from COVID rent relief.
